The Nephrology/Urology Unit provides exceptional care for our fellow community members who require Hemodialysis and/or specialized urological care. All nurses hired to our unit will become trained in Peritoneal Dialysis, the only hospital in Athens to provide this service. Our Nurses work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide patient centered care. The Nephrology/Urology Unit is comprised of multiple skill levels with the support of experienced charge nurses and an energetic clinical manager. It is important to have a unit council with all disciplines to assist in making unit based decisions to give the best patient care possible. Responsibilities:
The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Responsibilities: The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
