Central Civil Construction is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our team executing construction projects across South Florida, including airports, seaports, roadways, and private developments. This role may be based on a project site or in our head office and provides critical support to the Project Management and Project Supervision teams. The Project Engineer also contributes to preconstruction activities such as estimating, scheduling, planning, and buyout. This position offers hands-on experience across all aspects of construction, providing an excellent foundation for career growth in Estimating and Project Management.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in planning, budgeting, buyout, scheduling, and coordination of work.
• Perform Document Control (RFI’s, Submittals, Change Orders, Etc.) and data entry.
• Track daily productions of crews, subcontractors, for schedule updates and pay requisitions.
• Document jobsite progress and complete reports as required.
• Assist in other areas or responsibilities are required or assigned by his supervisor.
• Manage Hauling requirements. Working with approved outside carriers to obtain haul rates and availability and Central trucking resources.
• Manage soil erosion control facilities, labor and equipment.
• Manage material deliveries.
• Dispatching notifications to suppliers and carriers
• Timely reporting of hauling data, including tickets verification of deliveries/billing.
• Updating resources timely to meet documentation deadlines.
• Ability to prepare a variety of reports, excel, Procore.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment within established systems and procedures.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, owners, engineers, consultants, and fellow employees.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries from department staff or subcontractors.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Ability to be flexible with the schedule to include weekends and nights if needed.
• Willingness and desire to learn and advance in the heavy civil construction business.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in related discipline, ie. Civil Engineering/Construction Management.
• Internship in construction related field a plus.
• 3yrs + experience as a Field Engineer/Project Engineer.
• Knowledge of Procore software a plus
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Plan Grid and Bluebeam a plus
• Must have or obtain OSHA 10 Certification within a month of hiring.
• Strong work ethic, self-starter with professional communication skills is essential.
• Abilities in software applications, word, excel, outlook.
• Ability to train and become proficient in construction software applications; Procore, P-6, HCSS, Hard Dollar, Blue Beam

If you meet these qualifications, we would love to meet you:  

• Associate degree preferred
• Certified Hospice Nurse (CHPN) preferred
• Three+ years' experience in hospice, home health, general medical surgery, oncology, or patient population-specific nursing (i.e., geriatrics, pediatric, etc.)
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience
• Possess and maintain valid CPR certification while employed in a clinical role (preferred)  
• Must be a licensed driver who can travel to all business locations

Responsibilities:   

As a Hospice Registered Nurse Team Director, you will: 

• Supervise direct patient and family care team members, in collaboration with program site leadership
• Responsible for scheduling , payroll, and other administrative duties
• Ensure all initial assessments and required reassessments are conducted by qualified team members within required time frames, including documentation submissions, and/or synchonization
• Oversee and support the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) in development, implementation, and review of the interdicisiplinary plan of care for each patient and family
• Collaborate with program site leadership memebrs to monitor, manage, and mentor staff in patient care activities, productivity, and documentation per related policies and protocols
• Pariticpates and promotes Back to Bedside efforts in reinforcing Case Management skills, and knowledge and attitude per protocol for all disciplines
• Collaborate with site leadership to support staff education efforts
• Facilitates IDG meetings and provides ongoing IDG Support such as triaging incoming calls, provides caller support and assistance, and performs quality calls
• Participates in or lead quality improvement activities, including data collection and aggregation as able
• Reinforces and supports all internal and external communications

What You Will Do 

• Update, maintain, and improve requirements and requirements documentation for development and production efforts

• Perform and execute integration, verification and testing and/or provide Systems Engineering support during the test.

• Model the system and the system development and production processes using Cameo

• Participate in Failure Investigations

• Conduct Trade Studies and present results to customers

• Perform test planning to develop and implement test plans, and procedures.

• Prepare integration and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments

• Create and present technical data for design reviews and in preparation for test events.

• Troubleshoot and analyze hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.

• Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of test data to ensure optimal system performance and to verify requirements.

• Support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations

Qualifications You Must Have 

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

• Experience in Systems Engineering and/or Systems Integration and test

• Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
