The facility maintains collaborative care environment with established protocols for both inpatient and outpatient cancer treatment delivery.

Visitors can explore natural landmarks like Blackwater Falls State Park and the New River Gorge Bridge, while activities range from scenic railroad rides on the Cass Scenic Railroad to winter sports and extreme sports adventures. The area combines outdoor adventure with historic sites, providing options for both nature enthusiasts and history visitors.

The clinician will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient hematology and oncology care, managing both scheduled clinic patients and hospital consultations throughout the day. Clinical responsibilities include conducting thorough patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans for hematologic and oncologic conditions, and coordinating ongoing care with the multidisciplinary team. The position involves 1:4 call coverage for weeknight and weekend responsibilities, requiring availability for urgent consultations and patient management. The clinician will work collaboratively with 2 permanent physicians, 2 locum physicians, 4 advanced practice providers, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes while maintaining accurate documentation through EPIC EMR system.
