Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive dental care services to patients within a community health center setting. This role focuses on delivering high quality, patient centered oral healthcare services and represent CAHC in the community by participating in CAHC sponsored outreach events.

Requirements:

Task Responsibilities & Competencies:

*Include but are not limited to:

· Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments

· Diagnose oral diseases and develop appropriate treatment plans

· Provide preventive services such as cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants

· Perform restorative procedures including fillings, crowns and bridges

· Conduct extractions and other minor surgical procedures

· Measure and fit for removable dental appliances such as partials and dentures using traditional and digital methods

· Participate in school-based health and community outreach programs, as well as oral health education initiatives

· Provide required dental care as needed.

· Refer patients to a specialist if needed

· Deliver culturally competent care to diverse and underserved populations

· Participate as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

· Maintain accurate and timely patient records in electronic health records (HER)

· Participate in staff meetings and quality improvement initiatives

Minimum Education and Experience:

Required:

· Graduate of an accredited school of dental and Current State of Ohio Dental License

· Ability to communicate and work with a diverse population base.

· Eligible for Medicaid/Medicare provider status.

· Strong clinical background.

· Expertise in denture fabrication, extractions, complex restorative and patient management.

· Excellent oral and written communications’ skills
