Hiring: Senior Site Safety & Health Specialist
Richland, WA | 12-Month Contract-to-Hire
We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Safety & Health Specialist to support major high-voltage transmission, distribution, and substation projects in Richland, WA. This role will lead site safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with project teams to maintain a zero-incident safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage site Safety & Health programs in alignment with corporate and regulatory requirements
• Ensure compliance with OSHA Construction & General Industry regulations
• Conduct safety audits, site walk-throughs, and performance reviews
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
• Deliver safety training and promote a proactive safety culture across project teams
• Collaborate with project management and subcontractors on safety compliance
Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of construction or industrial safety experience (depending on education level)
• High voltage transmission, distribution, or substation experience (5+ years preferred)
• Knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, NIOSH, CoE EM 385-1, and NEC standards
• CUSP, CSP, or equivalent safety certification preferred
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between project sites
