Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Commercial Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial transactions and be adept at handling a variety of tasks to support our attorneys in those transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing files once opened through closing, including settlement statement preparation, document preparation, scheduling and client/referral partner communication.
- Applicants must have at least 3 years relevant commercial conveyancing experience and will independently coordinate and manage multiple closings as well as have knowledge of title requirements for real estate transactions.
- Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Draft correspondence, title policies, and other legal documents as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in commercial law.
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate and business transactions.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
