Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Private Housekeeper to support a HNW household in Austin, TX. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys being a trusted presence in the home and providing high-level personal service to the principals.
Schedule: Approximately 40-55 hours per week
- 6:00-2:00PM or 2:00-9:00PM
Work Type: Independent Contractor paid hourly. Pay commensurate with experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Daily and ongoing housekeeping, including light to moderate cleaning and upkeep
- Spot cleaning throughout the home to maintain a consistently tidy environment
- Closet organization and maintenance (seasonal rotations, order, inventory awareness)
- Linen management (bed making, towel and sheet rotation, organization, and care)
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of personal living spaces
- Ensuring household supplies are stocked and organized
- Identifying areas that need attention and proactively addressing them
- Working respectfully around principals while maintaining privacy and discretion
Additional Duties (as needed)
- Supporting special projects such as deep organization or seasonal resets
- Coordinating with other household staff if applicable
Qualifications & Experience
- Prior experience working in a private household preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently
- Professional demeanor with a high level of discretion and trustworthiness
- Comfortable working long shifts on designated days
- Physically capable of performing household tasks (standing, lifting, bending)
Valentines Austin is seeking a meticulous Website Merchandiser to drive the company’s goals, including new client acquisition and customer loyalty. Under the direction of the Marketing Director, the Site Merchandiser will work cross-functionally to manage a robust product catalog with seasonal changes. The ideal candidate is a thorough and detail-oriented individual with a passion for digital marketing and an admiration of luxury apparel and accessories. Ultimately, this role is responsible for maintaining accuracy and aesthetic appeal of all products and collections on the website.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Publish products from Lightspeed Inventory Management System (IMS) to Shopify website:
- Drive conversion and sales by ensuring all products are showcased effectively and correctly on site
- Physically lay eyes on incoming merchandise to ensure all product information is uploaded correctly including material composition
- Work closely with Marketing Director and Buyers to access and reference digital order sheets, internal jewelry references in order to verify that all aspects of each product uploaded accurately
- Notify Marketing Director of any discrepancies in price, color, size, material, or shape of products before publishing
- Match images of products to SKUs in IMS
- Upload product information to IMS including adding keywords for SEO and enriching product data with the appropriate tags and attributes to ensure a great customer experience
- Find or write descriptions of products and designer collections
- Photograph products and edit product photos as needed
- Upload all product media to Shopify
Organize and manage online inventory:
- Maintain product listing consistency across all product types and collections including but not limited to product image size and color, product titles, size references, color swatches, variant views, etc.
- Input product sibling color codes or create image swatches for product styles with multiple colors
- Merch designer and category collections by inventory, newness, color, style, or matching sets
- Maintain the digital jewelry book to support product uploads and tracking photography needs
Execute seasonal sale price changes:
- Markdown designers, collections, or individual items as assigned by Marketing Director
Report on product performance metrics as needed
Other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
- Meticulous level of attention to detail
- Proven track record of success with site merchandising
- At least 1 year of experience in online product management
- At least 1 year of experience with Shopify
- Ability to work in a group and is cognizant of others’ priorities to help achieve the goals of the group
- Ability to follow directions from management
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment with effective prioritization that doesn’t compromise thorough attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Preferred but not required:
1-2 years experience with product photography
Familiarity with designer apparel and jewelry brands

- Must be available to work on-site at our Davenport Village location Monday - Friday from 10am-6pm

The Events Coordinator is a critical hire. This person shapes how our donors, patrons, sponsors and community leaders experience the ASO — and those experiences directly drive the contributed revenue that funds everything we do. What You’ll Own
Masterworks Concert Weekend Receptions (16 per year over 8 concert weekends)
The backbone of our patron engagement calendar. Each Masterworks weekend includes two receptions — events with an established format that runs well. Your job is to own them, run them excellently, and make them better over time. Full production responsibility: vendor coordination, catering, décor, guest lists, run-of-show, and brand execution.
Arbor Society Luncheons (8 per year)
A complementary series of donor luncheons with an established format. Well-defined scope — the opportunity is in the execution quality and the incremental improvements you bring.
Maestro’s Dream Gala
Our signature annual fundraiser, one of the most important financial events on our calendar. You will serve as project coordinator from concept through execution and manage timelines, vendors, production team, sponsorship fulfillment, donor recognition, and day-of coordination.
Donor Cultivation & Stewardship Events (3–5 per year)
Smaller, more intimate events designed to deepen specific donor relationships. You will partner with the Development team to design experiences that move people closer to the mission.
Volunteer Program
The ASO benefits from the active involvement of the Women’s Symphony League and the Junior League of Austin — dedicated volunteer communities with long-standing institutional history. You will recruit, train, schedule, and steward volunteers across the event portfolio and help maintain a culture they are proud to be part of.
Who We’re Looking For
- 3 or more years of event coordination experience, or equivalent demonstrated track record
- Comfort with a high-volume concurrent event portfolio — this is a busy role, and we want someone energized by that
- Experience in nonprofit, cultural, or mission-driven organizations preferred
- Strong project management instincts: you make timelines, hit them, and flag problems early
- Natural collaborator across development and marketing departments, the CEO, board leadership, and volunteers
- Poise under pressure and a high standard for the patron experience
- Must be available nights and weekends during concert season
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
