Responsibilities
Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) evaluate and provide skilled speech-language therapy to individuals in a home setting, under the care of an attending physician. At Enhabit Home Health & Hospice, the home setting may include single or multi-family homes, assisted living, independent living, or memory care.
The SLP evaluates and treats patients with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication difficulties, voice disorders, and those requiring alternative or augmentative communication. At Enhabit Home Health & Hospice, an SLP may often work with patients who have experienced a stroke, and those with progressive diseases such as Parkinson’s disease and dementia.
Qualifications
# Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
# Must possess automobile liability insurance.
# Must wear seat belts at all times while driving.
# Dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
# Must be able to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
# Currently licensed as an SLP in the State of Employment.

With 20 years of experience in the advocacy space, The Borgen Project has worked to support the passage of numerous bills that have benefitted close to 500 million people in developing countries.
Political Affairs Internship:
The role focuses on making poverty a focus of U.S., Canadian and U.K. foreign policy. This is a part-time 12-hours per week, 12 week, unpaid remote internship. If your availability is limited, you can work ahead and complete the program in fewer weeks.

Responsibilities will include:
Leading public and political outreach in your state and district.
Meeting with members of Congress/Government in your State/District/Constituency.
Representing The Borgen Project at various business, political and community events.
Assisting with fundraising. Create a personal fundraising campaign and meet targets.
Mobilizing individuals to contact their members of Government in support of key poverty-reduction legislation.
Speaking to groups, classes and organizations.
Writing letters of support for key programs to political leaders, media and other groups.
Experience:
No prior experience is necessary, we're looking for people who are passionate about fighting poverty and righting wrongs, regardless of your GPAs/background.
Details:
This is an unpaid internship, although college credit is available. The position can be worked remotely from any of the following countries: U.S., U.K., Canada, France or Australia.

Responsibilities: As a Consulting Speech Language Pathologist, your primary responsibilities will include: 1.
Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech and language skills, and identifying areas of improvement.

Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address students' specific needs and goals.
3.
Providing direct speech and language therapy services to students using evidence-based techniques and strategies.
4.
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom and at home.
5.
Tracking and documenting students' progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
6.
Providing education and training to school staff and parents on how to support students' speech and language development.
7.
Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students' progress and plan for their future needs.
8.
Staying updated with the latest research and developments in speech-language pathology to ensure the use of best practices.
Qualifications: The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications: 1.
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
2.
A valid Colorado State SLP license.
3.
A minimum of 1 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a school setting.
4.
Excellent knowledge of various speech disorders and language impairments, as well as effective treatment strategies.
5.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations.
6.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
7.
A strong commitment to improving students' speech and language skills, and helping them achieve their goals.
8.
The ability to work independently, manage a caseload effectively, and meet deadlines.
9.
Proficiency in using computer software and technology for documentation and communication.
