Exciting Locum Tenens Opportunity for Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) in Wisconsin Explore a unique locum tenens opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with expertise in Neurosurgery.

We are seeking a dedicated APC to join a reputable facility's Neurosurgery department in Wisconsin.

This position is available immediately and offers an ongoing commitment.

- Neurosurgery Department: Neurosurgery Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call Allowed Holidays: Labor Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Christmas Day, 4th of July, Christmas Eve (1/2 Day Commencing at Noon), Thanksgiving Day Practice Details: The selected APC will work closely with two neurosurgeons, providing support for clinic, call, and surgical purposes.

The department currently has four APCs.

The schedule will be 40 hours per week, with 4 ??? 10-hour days for 3 weeks alternating with 5 ??? 8-hour days for 1 week.

Additional hours for weekend call once every fourth weekend until February 2024, then once every fifth weekend starting in March 2024.

Weeknight call is required once every fourth week until February 2024, then once every fifth week starting in March 2024.

Duties include: Surgical first assist Bedside procedures Rounding independently in all hospital units, including NICU, PICU, Peds, ICU (surgical and medical), and general med/surg floor Hospital and ER/UC consults Clinic duties, including outpatient consultations, post-operative/post-hospital patient care, fracture care, patient phone calls, medication refills, and FMLA documentation Location: This exceptional opportunity is located near the charming area of Augusta, WI, providing a welcoming community environment and a peaceful setting.
