Project Scheduler

The ideal candidate would have general experience in construction and project management with a high-level understanding of Oracle P6, contract requirements, and claim implications. Candidate would be self-motivated with strong leadership and problem-solving skills in order to manage all schedule related matters and personnel.

This role will focus on our Mid-Atlantic Region (Baltimore and Virginia).

Essential Duties:

• Develop planning level and baseline construction schedules and establish protocols to track work progress using Oracle P6 software
• Analyze and validate the preliminary/baseline schedule against the overall project objectives
• Review project progress & schedule updates to proactively anticipate schedule impacts and advise project team concerning the same
• Effectively communicate the outcome of the schedule development (or update) process by presenting targeted and relevant information from the schedule in elegant and effective formats
• Participate in and advise on schedule-related contract negotiations
• Collaborate with the project management staff and personnel
• Collect and analyze data and prepare summary reports
• Assist with determination of staffing needs, materials, and supplies
• Monitor progress on projects, develop timetables for projects and identify variance in the completion of work tied to schedule deadlines

Requirements:

• Degree in construction management, engineering or other related field
• 0 - 5 years construction related experience in scheduling and/or project management
• Demonstrated ability to track and maintain complete and accurate project data
• Demonstrated knowledge of Oracle P6 software & Visualizer
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling
• Knowledge of scheduling software (Oracle P6 and Trimble TILOS preferred)

Staff Accountant

We are working with a well-established consulting firm located in Pittsburgh seeking to add a staff accountant to their close-knit accounting team. This is a newly created role with an initial focus on accounts receivable (AR) but will broaden over time to support other core accounting functions.

Position overview: This role will support a senior staff accountant and the broader team by managing AR-related tasks, month-end close responsibilities, and assisting with other accounting duties as needed.

Key responsibilities:

• Review weekly timesheets for consultants, ensuring hours are approved and accurately entered
• Process and send time data for payroll and client billing
• Invoice clients on a monthly cadence for billable hours/expenses, comparing billed hours and rates to client contracts
• Apply payments to customer accounts, research and resolve discrepancies, and perform collections outreach (calls and emails)
• Reconcile AR accounts and issue credits or adjustments as needed
• Monitor and report on aging, write-offs, and support month-end close
• Verify wage rates and review all timesheets, ensuring accuracy and completion
• Perform AR reconciliations in QuickBooks Online
• Assist as needed with other accounting projects based on business needs

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred (associate's considered with strong technical experience)
• Previous experience with billing, AR, and accounting reconciliations
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online is required
• Familiarity with MS Office (especially Excel) is required
• Experience with ADP payroll a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Understanding of GAAP principles, debits/credits, and chart of accounts
• Ability to work efficiently in a small, collaborative team environment and adapt to shifting priorities

Schedule: Core hours 9am-5:30pm (approximately), Monday - Friday
