The Intensive Care Unit is a 28 Bed Combination Medical/Surgical/Cardiothoracic Surgical Adult Intensive Care Unit and serves a variety of patients on a daily basis. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is looking to work in a fast-paced and exciting environment!

Hours: Full-Time 36hrs/week
Shift: Days with Rotation or Night Shift Available | every other weekend or every third weekend (depending on seniority) and blocked holiday available.

Sign-On Bonus Details (Full Time or Flex Full Time status)

• $15,000 sign-on bonus available for nurses with over one year of experience.

Qualifications

Education

  • Ph.D. in Microbiology, Clinical Microbiology, or a related field

Experience

  • 2–5 years of clinical microbiology laboratory experience in a high-complexity setting
  • Experience in hospital or health system laboratories preferred
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience is highly desirable

Certifications (Preferred)

  • ABMM (American Board of Medical Microbiology) or eligibility preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of clinical microbiology methodologies and instrumentation
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards including CLIA and CAP
