Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory and/or home care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Ophthalmic Assistant ($17.11-$25.67 uncertified, $19.28-$28.92 certified):
Provides quality care to patients of all ages as defined in the ambulatory care nursing philosophy of Essentia Health. Performs tests and procedures and assists ophthalmologists or optometrists in providing quality eye care.

Job Summary

Qualifications
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience preferred.

A degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited respiratory care program is required; minimum associate degree or equivalent as defined by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Respiratory Therapists must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all procedures, indications, contraindications and hazards involved in respiratory care, as well as knowledge of equipment utilized in their department. A degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited respiratory care program is required; minimum associate degree or equivalent as defined by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Respiratory Therapists must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all procedures, indications, contraindications and hazards involved in respiratory care, as well as knowledge of equipment utilized in their department. Demonstrates the ability and knowledge required to utilize computers for patient documentation and data gathering for quality care. Must complete orientations, competency validations, and other in-servicing as required by the department and hospital.
Must have current Respiratory Therapy licensure in state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required by position.

Job Summary

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
For Rural Health Network facilities and Good Samaritan Society (GSS) only, employees who do not possess a Bachelor's degree in the required field, leadership may consider an educational plan with proven continuous action toward achieving a Bachelor's degree in Nursing within five years of hire into position.
