Your Role:
- Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well
- Work as a team to accomplish the goal of overall resort/hotel cleanliness
- Perform laundry duties as required (including washing, drying, ironing, and folding all guest room linens as well as restaurant and catering linens)
- Keep the laundry area and common areas clean and organized
- Complete daily cleaning of housekeeping and maintenance staff restrooms
- Understand proper utilization of equipment and chemicals, including knowledge of appropriate safety procedures
- Assist housemen and housekeepers as needed
- Help maintain a safe work environment
- Always respond in a friendly and helpful manner to other team members
What are we looking for?
Qualifications:
- Housekeeping experience preferred
- Neat, professional, and pleasant demeanor
- Strong time-management skills
- Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to move, traverse, and position oneself to reach corners, low areas, and high places; observe conditions; detect odors; and maneuver carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces
- Ability to operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters
- Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs
