The Role

We’re supporting the search for a Staff Industrial Engineer to lead advanced industrial engineering initiatives across manufacturing, R&D, and production support.

This is a senior technical role with direct influence on factory design, production readiness, capacity planning, and scalability. You’ll act as the site’s primary Industrial Engineering authority, partnering with operations, engineering, supply chain, and leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead site-wide industrial engineering strategy, standards, and best practices
  • Design and optimize manufacturing processes, layouts, material flow, and labor standards
  • Develop capacity models, line balances, takt times, and production simulations
  • Support new product introductions, capital projects, and factory scaling
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven methods
  • Identify constraints and reduce waste to improve throughput, quality, and cost
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship across cross-functional teams
  • Own risk management, safety, and regulatory compliance programs
  • Lead Process Safety Management (PSM) elements where applicable


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred or equivalent experience)
  • 6+ years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong Lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, and capacity planning expertise
  • Experience in high-mix, low-to-medium volume production
  • Proficiency in data analysis, modeling, and simulation tools
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functionally and build IE programs

Qualifications

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • A minimum of a Master's degree in the Behavioral Health field is required.
  • A State of CT. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or equivalent required.
  • Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification is preferred but not required.
  • Must be trained in PMT and de-escalation techniques, as prescribed by ECHN, and receive certification within 6 months of hire into the role.

Be the Best Hospice Admissions RN You Can Be

If you meet these qualifications, we would love to meet you:

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state(s) of practice, with an associate degree preferred and CPR certification recommended (required for direct patient care in Georgia). Must meet state-specific regulatory requirements.
  • Previous nursing experience in hospice, home health, general medical-surgical, or population-specific care (e.g., pediatrics, geriatrics) is required, along with willingness to serve on-call.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and the minimum required liability auto insurance.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems. Must be able to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Physically able to lift patients over 200 pounds (with assistance), stand, walk, sit, stoop, and perform other physical movements frequently. Regular exposure to indoor environments and moderate noise expected.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust individualized plans of care
  • Coordinate and communicate care needs with internal and external partners, ensuring timely updates, interventions, and resource utilization
  • Provide patient and caregiver education, document care accurately, and maintain up-to-date clinical records that reflect current status and progress
  • Participate in on-call rotations, admissions, and interdisciplinary meetings; manage care and scheduling using the Case Management model when serving as Care Manager
  • Supervise and support other clinical staff as applicable; engage in ongoing education, special projects, and duties within scope of licensure
