Work Environment
Boatswain's Mates serve primarily on ships and can expect to travel the world over. Your responsibilities are performed mostly outdoors and you can expect work of a physical nature. You will not spend your entire career at sea, you may work in a variety of different environments when you're stationed on shore.
Training & Advancement
Upon completion of initial training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes (known as Boot Camp), you'll report for specialized training, including:
Boatswain Mate "A" School (5 weeks) in Great Lakes, IL, for training in basic general safety, watch standing, deck seamanship, underway replenishment and preventive maintenance.

Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and collections, including signatures for proof of receipt.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws regarding transport and delivery of documents.

Provide consultative services to our clients on the delivery process, ensuring they understand the timeline and process for their mortgage documents.
6.
Regularly inspect, maintain, and clean the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in optimal condition.
7.
Coordinate with the central office and team members to optimize delivery routes and schedules.

Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Consulting Mail Courier position will have the following qualifications: 1.
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a courier or delivery driver role, preferably within the mortgage or financial industry.

A clean driving record is essential.

Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive documents with utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
