A typical day in the life of a Provider, includes:
- Collaborating with the center clinical staff toensure patient care.
- Providing treatment of illnesses and injuries; order labs and other diagnostic tests and prescribe medications for children and adults.
- Demonstrating the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care appropriate to the age of patients.
- Performing common urgent care procedures such as wound repair, abscess drainage, splinting, EKG and X-ray interpretation.
Education & Experience:
- Master's degree and Certification
- Current NP State License in the center for which you are applying
- Experience as a Provider in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care
- Credentialed to see patients of all ages
- Active DEA license with no restrictions
- Current DOT certification or ability to become certified

Salary and Benefits Annual Base Salary for newly appointed BPAs varies per grade, as follows: GL-5/GL-7 $49,739
- $89,518 per year Duty location impacts pay rates; locality pay for federal law enforcement is higher in some locations than others.
A fully trained BPA may be eligible for up to an additional 25% of base pay per the BPA Pay Reform Act of 2014.

Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.

- Institutes care protocols as indicated including: falls prevention, safety and elopement, behavior management, weight management, skin integrity, bowel/bladder management, infection control guidelines (Standard Precautions), and pain assessment and management.
- Assesses and documents changes in residentsβ physical or mental status and reports findings to the primary care physician and treatment team. Provides complete clinical data to facilitate decision-making.
- Provides leadership and direction for direct caregivers. Prepares daily assignments and delegates workload appropriately. Supervises direct care through observation and evaluation of direct care results.
- Establishes positive working relationships with team members, residents and family members in order to facilitate open, direct communication.
- Obtains, administers and documents medications and treatments given to residents following professional guidelines and Nursing department policies. Inventories and maintains locked system for narcotics.
- Supports, creates, and maintains a positive culture for team members and residents
- Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree or Diploma from an accredited college, University or nursing school.
- Long term care facility and specialized knowledge of nursing care of the elderly and rehabilitative nursing is preferred.
- Must hold a registered nursing (RN, LPN) license within the State of New Hampshire. Certified in intravenous administration preferred. Must maintain CEU's annually.Β CPR is required.
