Upon hire, Flex Houseparents initially support various student homes and follow a working schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. RN with two years of preferred clinical operating room, ICU, Cath Lab and other procedural
areas RN experience. Must possess and maintain a current license or valid permit to

JOB SUMMARY:
Competent Clinician. Possesses knowledge and skill to meet standards for competent
professional nursing practice as specified in the Texas Nurse Practice Act. Experienced,
knowledgeable and skilled in specialty area. Competently functions as a member of the
interdisciplinary team. Experienced nurses transferring into the operating room must
complete the operating room specific Competency Based Orientation (CBO) tool
satisfactorily within the 6-month probationary period. Practice is characterized by

and competent intraoperative patient care. Actively acquire knowledge and skills

procedure, site and other critical safety checks prior to surgery. Safely circulate in
emergent and urgent surgical cases and collaborate with physicians and other members

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Knowledge of Class 1 injection well regulations and environmental compliance standards.
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for pumps, valves, and instrumentation.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and regulatory documents.
Proficiency in using SCADA or other monitoring systems (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain organized records.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications in wastewater treatment, well operations, or related fields are a must.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
