The Section delivers care at main campus and affiliated sites in Oak Park and Oak Brook. The Section has a busy research program and is involved in multiple FDA clinical trials. The Section is looking for an experienced sleep surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, preferably with sleep medicine and/or surgery fellowship training to join Dr. Mike Hutz, a dual-boarded Otolaryngologist and Sleep Medicine specialist. The recruit will have an opportunity to develop a comprehensive sleep surgery practice, educate residents and medical students, and participate in research and clinical trials. The faculty member will also have the opportunity to practice comprehensive otolaryngology in the department based on interest.

The department has 20 faculty, 7 APPs, and 9 audiologists that provide comprehensive array of otolaryngology services at the main campus and 6 regional sites in Illinois and Indiana. The program is currently ranked #19 on US News and World Report, top ranking in the state of Illinois.

Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, knowledge and skills; relevant experience and training; education, certifications, and licensure; primary work location; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role, as well as additional compensation such as sign-on and retention bonuses and relocation allowances. Opportunities for increased compensation based on exceeding productivity targets. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.

Pay Range: $376,000 - $505,000 (TCC)
