As aΒ Home HealthΒ Speech Language Pathologist, you will:
Evaluate, direct and provide speech/language pathology service to patients in the home or facility
Participate in the development and periodic review of the Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care.
Utilize professional skills and judgment in assessing and treating disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing and swallowing to prevent, identify, evaluate and minimize the effects of such disorders and conditions.Β
Administer and interpret diagnostic tests and applications of therapeutic treatments including audio logic screening.
Observe, record and report changes in the patient's condition and response to treatment to supervisor and/or the physician.
Provide instruction and training to patients in use of alternative communication systems when appropriate.
Provide counsel and instruction to patients, families and healthcare staff.
Maintain and submit documentation as required by the Company and/or facility.Β Prepare and submit timely written reports of evaluations, visits, summaries, care plans, care coordination activities and progress reports as required by Company policy.
Participate in care coordination activities and discharge planning.
Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct in relation to information that is confidential in nature.Β Share information only when the recipient's right to access is clearly established and the sharing of such information is clearly in the best interests of the patient.
Attend, participate in and/or conduct internal staff development programs, obtain continuing education as required by Company policy, regulation.Β

Required Experience/Skills:
Meet the education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
Minimum of six months experience as a speech therapist / speech language pathologist
Home Health experience a plus
Current and unrestricted license
Current CPR certification
Good organizational and communication skills
A valid driverβs license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
Pay Range
β’Β Β Β $54.00 - $76.00 pay per visit/unit
β’Β Β Β $85,400 - $117,500 per year base pay

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The University of Iowa Department of Dermatology is seeking a general medical dermatologist to add to the growing faculty in their department. The position provides excellent work-life balance and flexibility and can be tailored based on the candidate's interest and area of focus.
Opportunity Highlights:
- Tailor your role with a standard appointment of 80% clinical and 20% academic/research time.
- Prioritize outpatient clinical care, with options to engage in consultative inpatient dermatology if desired. Flexibility and support are available to conduct clinical trials or lead a clinical trials unit.
- Expect 7 half-day clinics per week (28 patient hours), split between the main campus dermatology clinic and the Iowa River Landing clinic. Flexibility to increase clinic hours with additional compensation.
- Standard inpatient rotation is 1:12.
- Experience a wide variety of cases, from complex medical dermatology to common conditions, at Iowaβs only academic, tertiary care hospital.
- Share night and weekend call on a 1:16 rotation, with minimal night duties and light weekend rounds.

The F&B Manager is a key member of the management team and is directly responsible for the oversight of all food & beverage operations at the property. Driving revenue through programming, driving golfers to the bar and up-selling will be a key component to this position. This includes implementing budgets and the hiring, training and supervising of all related F&B service and food production staff. The F&B Manager will apply all of their experience and knowledge to assuring that the wants and needs of guests are consistently met and/or exceeded.

Position Responsibilities:
β’ Daily management of Food and Beverage Department
β’ Assist General Manager with banquet and event execution

β’ Hires, supervises and develops bartender, beverage cart driver, host/hostess, line cook, snack bar attendant and other employees in the F&B department
β’ Conduct training and refresher classes for all F&B personnel in the correct procedures

β’ Forecasting and budgets pertaining to F&B operation
β’ Maintaining cost controls and conducting a monthly inventory
