Senior Quality Manager – Ownership Potential | Small-Town Manufacturing
We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Quality Leader to own our Quality Management System (QMS) and drive continuous improvement across internal operations, supplier performance, warranty, and ISO compliance. This is a high-impact role in a small-town manufacturing environment with great quality of life, working for a company that is truly about its people, with a path to ownership for the right long-term leader.
What You’ll Do
- Own and lead the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Drive supplier quality: audits, onboarding, scorecards, and corrective actions
- Lead PPAP with suppliers to ensure robust launches and capable processes
- Partner with Engineering & Purchasing on PFMEAs, control plans, and inspection standards
- Reduce warranty claims through data analysis and permanent corrective actions
- Lead root-cause problem solving (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA, SPC)
- Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection
- Maintain ISO 9001 certification and audit readiness
- Present quality and warranty KPIs to leadership
- Develop, mentor, and grow a high-performing quality team
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and respect for people
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in manufacturing quality leadership
- Strong supplier quality and PPAP experience
- Hands-on ISO 9001 leadership
- Expertise with quality tools (8D, FMEA, SPC, etc.)
- Six Sigma certification preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
