Why join us? Full Benefits Job Details Maintenance Technician – Tool & Die Job Overview We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support daily operations in a precision tool and die manufacturing environment.
This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, tooling support systems, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime and keep machining operations running efficiently.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience working around CNC machining and toolroom equipment, and is comfortable responding to both planned maintenance and urgent breakdowns.
Key Responsibilities • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines, presses, grinders, and related toolroom equipment • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues • Support tool and die manufacturing operations by maintaining auxiliary equipment (coolant systems, chip conveyors, air systems, etc.) • Diagnose equipment failures and implement permanent fixes • Work with production and toolroom teams to prioritize repairs • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation • Assist with equipment installs, moves, and upgrades • Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas • Follow all safety and lockout/tagout procedures Required Experience & Skills • Maintenance experience in a manufacturing, tool & die, or machining environment • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills • Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems • Experience supporting CNC machining equipment preferred • Ability to read basic mechanical and electrical schematics • Comfortable working independently and responding to breakdowns • Basic welding or fabrication skills a plus • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred Interested in hearing more? PA / NP / APRN POSITION SUMMARY: The Nurse Practitioner utilizes the medical model to meet a variety of healthcare needs with ambulatory care as their primary focus. The Physician?s Assistant works with a variety of healthcare professionals/security officers in a correctional environment to provide basic medical services supervised by a licensed Physician. The PA has no managerial responsibilities.
PA / NP / APRN ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Will be required to work within a correctional facility.
- Responds to and initiates care for medical emergencies throughout the facility.
- Identifies inmate /patient health problems and prescribes treatment under direction of a physician.
- Implements medical care utilizing therapeutic regimens approved by a Physician.
- Provides education to inmate /patient, healthcare, and correctional staff.
- Documents all healthcare contacts.
- Adheres to safety and security policies and participates in disaster drills. Follows security regulations for keys, sharps, and controlled medications.
- Assigns tasks to team members as needed.
- Adheres to Universal Precautions and other appropriate infection control practices.
- Attends training and meetings as required.
NURSE PRACTITIONER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of an accredited college/university NP program
- Must possess current licenses or certifications in this state.
- Experience in Correctional desired but not required.
- Acute care experience preferred.
