Duties

* Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers (dozers), loaders, backhoes, cranes, and other construction machinery with precision and safety.
* Manage the operation of various trucks including dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, and tanker trucks to transport materials across the site.
* Assist with site preparation activities including grading, excavation, trenching, and foundation work using equipment like excavators and loaders.
* Support concrete work by operating mixers or related machinery to facilitate pouring and finishing processes.
* Conduct routine inspections of equipment before use to ensure optimal safety and functionality; perform basic maintenance when needed.
* Follow all safety protocols and construction site procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members.
* Collaborate with project managers and other crew members to coordinate equipment usage efficiently on-site.

Skills

* Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and similar machinery.
* Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
* Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety standards, procedures, and workflow.
* Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving trucks like dump trucks, water trucks, or tanker trucks.
* Ability to operate specialized machinery such as concrete mixers or farm-related equipment when required.
* Knowledge of Caterpillar (CAT) equipment models or similar brands is highly desirable.
