Role Description
The Paralegal will play a key role in supporting attorneys with a wide range of legal tasks and ensuring the efficient functioning of the legal team. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, and providing assistance in case preparation. Paralegals interface with ckients daily and need strong interpersonal skills. The role requires excellent organizational and communication skills. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Abingdon, VA.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Law and experience in Legal Document Preparation
- Strong preference for family law exoerience
- Strong skills in Research and Document Review
- Excellent written and verbal Communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Experience with legal software and technology is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certification preferred
- Prior professional experience in a legal environment for at least 1 year is highly desirable
Salary is commisurate with experience
