The educator applies adult learning principles, evidence-based practices, and innovative modalities
- including simulation, eLearning, and microlearning

The Clinical Educator II collaborates with clinical teams to ensure education initiatives meet regulatory standards, support safe patient care, and align with organizational goals.
Serves as a subject matter expert and mentor to Clinical Educator I and other staff.
Participates in and supports the strategic planning and quality improvement efforts of the education team.Responsibilities:

* L & D Fellowship for new L & D RN's
* Conducts learning needs assessments to identify gaps in clinical knowledge, skills, and practice.
* Designs, develops, and leads education programs using contemporary teaching strategies and technologies.
* Facilitates onboarding and orientation for new clinical staff, ensuring smooth integration into practice environments.
* Coordinates and validate clinical competencies for new hires and existing staff, including annual skills assessments and regulatory requirements.
* Integrates simulation-based learning, case-based scenarios, and hands-on training to enhance clinical decision-making and critical thinking.
* Serves as a resource and mentor for preceptors, supporting their development and effectiveness in staff training.
* Promotes evidence-based practice and support staff in translating research into clinical application.
* Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support interprofessional education and shared learning experiences.
* Maintains documentation of educational activities, competency validations, and outcomes for compliance and quality improvement.
* Participates in committees and initiatives focused on clinical education, safety, and performance improvement.
* Evaluates program effectiveness and implements improvements.
* Serves as a resource for evidence-based practice and clinical standards.

* Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) required;current enrollment considered with an expectation of completion within a defined timeframe

* 2+ years of OB experience

Summary:
This Job performs all routine and complicated laboratory procedures including specimen processing and handling, testing of patient specimens, calculating, and reporting of results, performance of quality control procedures, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, assisting in the development of new procedures and protocols, may perform phlebotomy and other patient-oriented tasks, and may perform other related duties as requested or directed.

Processes patient specimens, including collection, handling, and distribution always cognizant of minimal pediatric specimen volumes (when required).
Participates in the evaluation, development, and implementation of new or updated testing procedures and protocols.
Demonstrates competence to perform assigned patient care responsibilities in a manner that meets the population-specific and developmental needs of patients served by the department.

Education/Skills
Bachelor's Degree or higher in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution or equivalent laboratory training and experience meeting the requirements defined in the CLIA regulation 42CFR493.1489 (includes U.S. Military laboratory training courses of at least 50 weeks)
OR
Education that has been evaluated by an acceptable credentialing agency and deemed equivalent to a US Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology.
Experience
No experience required for graduates of a clinical laboratory training program approved or accredited by NAACLS, or other organizations approved by HHS. OR
One year of approved clinical laboratory experience, which must include a clinical rotation through the following sections of the laboratory: Blood Banking, Microbiology, Chemistry, and Hematology, Immunology, and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in the U.S. or with an accredited laboratory within the last 5 years.

The technologist will demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed or required. The technologist must be able to troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. Job Requirements:
Education/Skills
* Graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required
Experience
* 1 year of ultrasound scanning experience preferred
* Basic computer experience required
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
* Requires one of the following within 1 year of hire:
* Sonography (S) by ARRT
* Abdomen (AB) RDMS by ARDMS
* Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) RDMS by ARDMS
* Prefers one of the following, along with the required:
* Vascular Sonography (VS) by ARRT
* Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT
* Breast (BR) RDMS by ARDMS
