Pharmacists ensure the effective use of medications by providing medication order verification while assessing for optimal drug product selection, dosage regimen design, effective administration and drug therapy monitoring services. Pharmacists interact with patients, family, and other healthcare providers to assure continuity of services and to achieve desired patient outcomes through safe, timely and cost effective drug therapy. Pharmacists supervise pharmacy technicians and may be required to assume the essential responsibilities of pharmacy management in their absence. Responsible for leading pharmacy services in a clinical or operational area of the health system. Provides expertise and oversight to their designated area and to staff.
For Ambulatory Care Pharmacists: Pharmacists work with patients and other healthcare providers to assure the most safe and effective medication use. Performs lube, oil and filter changes by draining and replacing oil and filter, and lubricating all joints, including idler arm steering knuckles, tie rods ends and ball joints.
Reports all necessary repairs to service advisor.
Installs completed LOF reminder sticker in vehicle.
Checks battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid and power steering fluid levels and refills as needed.
Checks coolant level and refills as necessary.

Position Details/Preferred Qualifications
This role is for our special care nursery, women laboring, and infant resuscitation during deliveries. At least 2 years of experience in the NICU and attending deliveries is strongly preferred. The schedule is (3) 12 hour shifts, Monday-Friday, every other weekend, and rotating holidays. The primary location is TriPoint Medical Center in Concord, but 25% travel to our main campus in Cleveland (Rainbow Babies & Children's) is required to maintain skills.
