Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager (Mechanical) to support a ground-up, mission-critical data center construction project in Boydton, VA. This role will lead and oversee the mechanical scope of the build, ensuring quality, compliance, and successful system turnover.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Design Review

  • Review mechanical design documents, specifications, and IFC packages
  • Validate compliance with ASHRAE, IMC, ASME, NFPA, AHJ, and manufacturer standards
  • Respond to RFIs and evaluate equipment submittals & shop drawings

Construction Phase Oversight

  • Conduct field walks to verify installation compliance
  • Oversee equipment placement, anchorage, vibration isolation, and safety
  • Monitor piping fabrication, welding QA/QC, and pressure testing
  • Manage installation sequencing and constructability reviews

QA/QC & Compliance

  • Review inspection reports, weld maps, hydro tests, and flushing plans

Coordination & Integration

  • Lead MEP coordination across electrical, structural, civil, plumbing, and controls
  • Support BIM coordination and clash resolution
  • Ensure integration with UPS rooms, battery rooms, and data halls

Commissioning & Turnover

  • Review commissioning scripts and procedures
  • Witness functional testing, equipment startup, CHW balancing, and BAS testing
  • Support IST, punch list closure, and final turnover

  • Chilled water generation & distribution
  • CRAH/CRAC units
  • AHUs

SUMMARY:


The Site Security Manager (SSM) serves as the day-to-day manager of a site security team that includes administrative officers, responders, and other security personnel at a client’s datacenter. The SSM is responsible for building a cohesive and high performing team. Reporting directly to the Campus Security Manager (CSM), the SSM works alongside other security team managers in their campus to ensure a safe and secure environment. Additional job functions may include client service and problem resolution, service enhancement, Security Operations Center (SOC) systems maintenance, audit compliance, system monitoring, log maintenance, and access rights maintenance.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Actively manages site security personnel; partners with the local branch to recruit and hire, oversee onboarding, training, and development at the datacenter.

2. Coaches security personnel and carries out disciplinary actions in accordance with current policy.

3. Ensures all responders and control room supervisors adhere to policies and standard operating procedures, acting as responder or control room supervisor in periods of increased activity or in the case of absent staff.

4. Ensures site health and key performance indicator goals are met or exceeded; works with the CSM to enhance security team effectiveness and performance.

5. Conducts recalling audits, prepares, and submits critical and confidential information directly to client management team.

6. Oversees site security systems to ensure safe and compliant operation of the facility.

7. Maintains and troubleshoots on-site security technology.

8. Assists with site equipment inspections, and audit compliance.

9. Maintains required security documentation, ensuring accuracy in accordance with established policies and procedures.

10. Serves as primary point of contact to datacenter management and security personnel when the CSM is unavailable.

11. Performs additional tasks assigned by management.

12. Keeps management informed of major accomplishments, issues and concerns.

13. Identifies security shortfalls and offers suggestions from improving the security program.

14. Evaluates and escalates potential safety issues within the facility.

15. Required to know and follow safe work practices, and to be aware of company policies and procedures related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations. Notify supervisor upon becoming aware of unsafe working conditions.

MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS: Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

About the Role

 

During a visit that can last up to one hour, Matrix providers review and observe a member’s current health, medical history, medication adherence, social environment and other risks. This provides unmatched insight into a member’s overall health and well-being that can be difficult to capture during routine office visits. The Matrix Comprehensive Health Assessment (CHA) helps to improve quality of care and allows us to potentially close multiple care gaps with a single visit. Our providers:

  • Conduct adult / geriatric assessments to include medical history, diagnosis and treatment, health education, physician referrals, case management referrals, follow-up and clear documentation according to Matrix guidelines and protocols
  • Administer and order point of care and lab-based testing as needed
  • Work with physicians, case managers, social workers, family members, key caregivers, and ancillary medical personnel as appropriate
  • Collaborate with Primary Care Physician (PCP) on patient education and follow up as necessary
  • Provide services at the member’s place of residence which can be in their homes or Skilled Nursing Facilities

Typical duties may include: Monitoring behavior patterns and activities of suspect persons, vehicles, or vessels believed to be engaged in illegal activities.

Interpreting radar data to calculate appropriate intercept while tracking vessels and people to a successful interdiction.

Conducting investigative inquiries using various techniques, examining files and records, physical and documentary evidence to identify logical conclusions.

Utilizing cameras and other electronic high-tech surveillance equipment to gather evidence, collect, evaluate, and then preserve that physical and documentary evidence.

Highly skilled in writing comprehensive arrest, criminal and incident reports.

Assisting government or state attorneys in preparation for court cases or grand juries, testifies as a law enforcement officer in court proceedings, and administrative forums.

Considerable experience applying arrest authorities and constitutional law in various alleged criminal situations, or knowledge and experience of CBP laws, regulations, policies, legal precedent.
