Mission :Operates independently and cooperates with other Central Metrology Technicians to guarantee precision, dependability, and adherence to established standards for calibrations within Central Metrology Lab Scope.
Calibration: Check, analyze, and recalibrate measurement devices based on established criteria, maintaining accurate readings.
Documentation: Maintain clear, detailed logs of laboratory standards, calibration procedures, test findings, and maintenance carried out to follow quality management systems and external guidelines (e.g., ISO 17025).
Process improvement: Partner with fellow Central Metrology Technicians and Internal Business Partners to advance metrology practices and calibration protocols, spot opportunities for progress, and carry out solutions.
Training: Provide training and guidance as needed to other technicians and internal business partners on metrology and calibration techniques and standard methodologies.
Troubleshooting: Detect and address inconsistencies in process and procedures by conducting root cause analysis.
Works autonomously and collaboratively with other Central Metrology Technicians to ensure precision, reliability, and conformity to defined standards for calibrations within the Central Metrology Lab Scope.
Calibration: Assess, test, and calibrate measurement devices following established standards, maintaining accurate readings.
Documentation: Carefully and thoroughly record all laboratory standards, calibration processes, test outcomes, and maintenance to meet quality management systems and external criteria (e.g., ISO 17025).
Process improvement: Work alongside other Central Metrology Technicians and Internal Business Partners to advance metrology techniques and calibration procedures, detect areas needing improvement, and apply solutions.
Training: Deliver instruction and mentorship as required to other technicians and internal business partners regarding metrology and calibration techniques and standard processes.
Troubleshooting: Detect and address inconsistencies in processes and procedures by conducting root cause analysis.
Key encouraged achievementsAdhere to safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Perform calibrations on a wide range of measuring devices using precision measuring instruments and software, ensuring environmental controls in the lab are adequate before performing calibrations. Detect and communicate any measurement/calibration nonconformities to all interested parties.
Record and document test results, maintenance performed, and any deviations or non-conformities in calibration logs, records, and certificates, ensuring traceability and adherence to quality and regulatory standards.
Coordinate and arrange the servicing of devices alongside other Central Metrology Technicians to enhance lab operational efficiency. Use organizational and time management abilities to handle workloads and schedules efficiently.
Assist in the development and/or update of calibration procedures and documentation in accordance with National, International, or Industry Standards.
Provide technical aid and advice to colleagues and Internal Business Partners.
Technical Skills:> Perform calibration of various parameters of gauge types, as approved by procedure training, evidence of competency, and maintaining individual uncertainties in alignment with other calibration technicians

Computer skills: Proficiency with calibration software and other computer-based test equipment

Understanding of standards: Experience with quality and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 17025, ISO 9001)
Associate degree or Certificate from a technical school or military training

MAU is hiring a CNC Programmer for our client in Greenville, SC. As a CNC Programmer, you will generate, verify, and support CNC programs while providing programming assistance, operator support, and process improvement initiatives for CNC machining operations. This is a long-term contract opportunity with an assignment duration of 18 months with potential for direct hire.

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree, or Machinist Apprentice (or similar) graduate with 3 years of experience with graphical based CAM System CNC Programming OR
- High School Degree with 6 years of experience with graphical based CAM System CNC Programming
Preferred Education and Experience
- Preference given to candidates with Siemens NX CAM experience (1953 or later)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Machine Tool Technology
- Experience creating 5-axis CNC programs using a CAM system
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with high-level machine tool controls, including sub-routine (macro), Renishaw probing routine, and variable-based programming
- Experience machining high-temperature superalloys used in HDGT or Aerospace components
- Large VTL, VBM, and HBM programming experience
- Creep feed grind experience
- Sinker, Wire, and Fast Hole Drill EDM experience
- Experience using Vericut or other CNC verification/machine simulation software
- Experience with large precision grinding applications
General Requirements
- Ability to safely operate machinery, including setup and prove-out of first pieces
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with above-average shop math skills in geometry and trigonometry
- Strong familiarity with multiple machine controls, including Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, Siemens, and G&L
- Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting drawing requirements
- Ability to multitask and productively manage multiple projects concurrently
Essential Functions
- Work and support operations on the first shift
- Generate and maintain CNC programs utilizing NX-CAM or other software, including multi-axis milling, turning, grinding, and/or EDM
- Verify new CNC programs prior to release to the shop floor, utilizing Vericut
- Provide CNC-related support to Manufacturing Engineers and deliver operator training during new or rebuilt machine startup and process improvements
- Provide daily operator support through CNC programming assistance and troubleshooting on the shop floor
- Support and implement tooling and fixturing requirements associated with CNC machine tools
- Generate and support workstation instructions (methods) related to CNC operations
- Initiate and lead process improvement projects to improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery
- Communicate effectively with appropriate team members when needed
- Work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment within a matrixed organization

Michelin is recruiting an Mechanical Design Engineer to work on developing the next generation of equipment for tire testing and beyond. You will join a team dedicated to designing & upgrading testing machines to improve the performance of our products.
Your mission will include working with automation and software engineers where you will develop or modify equipment to properly run the test methods. Our team supports tire designers and test method developers. Our goal is to provide accurate data to our business partners so they can make proper decisions during the tire development process.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Invent, develop, industrialize, procure, and/or install machinery, tools, and equipment related to the testing of tires (on vehicles and on machines) and materials for tires.
Modify and improve tire-test and material-test equipment.
Manage projects for the purchase of machines/equipment for the testing departments. Follow Michelin project approach through the project stages including:
- Opportunity Study, Feasibility Study, Risk Analysis, Solution Selection & Development, Installation and Startup, Homologation & Qualification, ROI
Study, select, and purchase equipment and components from outside suppliers which will provide solutions to problems (or desired outcomes) presented by the testing departments.
Collaborate with personnel from various departments including operations, maintenance, test engineers, tire design engineers, purchasing, IT, and management.
Use 3D modeling software (SolidWorks) for developing parts, assemblies, and drawings. Use SolidWorks Simulation tools as required to guarantee integrity of parts and assemblies.
Occasional travel to outside vendors for equipment evaluation/acceptance and to other Michelin sites for equipment startup/installation.
Select and manage contractors and outside vendors performing on-site work.
Analyze data from tire test equipment as required to troubleshoot problems or to improve confidence in test results. Develop an understanding of how tire behavior and measurement can affect the final results. Consider and apply these findings in the development/ procurement/ modification of test equipment.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- BS or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering
- 3 -5 years' experience designing equipment; project management.

Job Summary
Southern MEP is seeking an HVAC Mechanical Project Manager. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and managing mechanical projects from start to finish, with a strong emphasis on heavy HVAC estimating for both new construction and retrofit projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Perform heavy HVAC estimating, including detailed plan/spec takeoffs, design- build estimat6es, labor and material costing, equipment selection, vendor pricing coordinating and preparation of bid proposals.
- Analyze mechanical drawings, specifications and scope documents to develop accurate and competitive estimates for projects of varying size and complexity.
- Project change order estimations.
- Work closely with your team to ensure that they have the necessary materials, tools, and equipment to complete their tasks.
- Manage project risk, identifying potential issues and problem-solving.

Duties and Responsibilities
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA) you will perform aviation-based law enforcement operations for the detection, prevention, interdiction, and apprehension of terrorists, terrorist weapons, and other contraband and persons from illegally entering or attacking the United States. Typical duties include:
- Conducting air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities related to the interdiction of smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels.
- Monitoring behavior patterns and activities of suspect persons, vehicles, or vessels believed to be engaged in illegal activities.
- Collecting, refining, and analyzing strategic and tactical intelligence.
- Supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
Salary and Benefits
Begin your career as an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA) and make up to $85,270 to - $110,846 per year based on your qualifications for the GS-11 grade level and possible extra compensation based on your duty location (see below).
Recruitment Incentive:New hires may be eligible to receive a one-time Recruitment Incentive payout of $10,000 after completing Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy (FLETC) (1 year service agreement will need to be completed) (Recruitment Incentive is only available to new Federal employees as described in 5 CFR 575.102. Qualifications
Experience:You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized professional aviation experience performing duties such as:
- Flying as a Pilot-in-Command or sole manipulator in an airplane and helicopter in all environments of flight, including night, poor weather, unfavorable terrain, low altitudes, or speed.
- Evaluating information rapidly and making judicious decisions promptly during in-flight operations.
- Developing strategies and coordinating aircraft and ground assets.
- Using information systems and databases to conduct information surveys, queries, update files and disseminate information.
- Experience may include Operation of an aircraft as Captain, Pilot in Command, Aircraft Commander, First Officer, Certified Flight Instructor, Second in Command, or Co-pilot.
Hiring Minimums:
Certification & Ratings: A current FAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification with one of the following ratings:
- Dual Rated: Airplane (Single-engine land or multi-engine land) with instrument rating AND Rotorcraft Helicopter with instrument rating.
- Airplane Rated: Airplane (Single-engine land or multi-engine land) with instrument.
- Helicopter Rated: Rotorcraft Helicopter with instrument rating.
- Equivalent military rating of the above at the time of application (eligibility based on military flight experience must provide official orders, forms or logbooks showing their status as a rated military pilot).
Flight Hours: Pilot Enter on Duty minimums are 1500 flight hours; (up to 500 hours can be waived, reducing the pilot enter on duty minimums to 1000 hours.
250 Pilot-in-Command hours; 75 Instrument hours; 75 Night hours (Flight Hour Waiver available, see Required Documents); and 100 Flight hours in the last 12 months This qualification requirement is currently being waived by OPM through August 5, 2025.
FAA Class 2 medical required for assessment dated within the last 12 calendar months; FAA Class 1, FAA Class 2 or Military medical flight clearance dated within the last 12 months qualifies to start the pre-employment process for the AIA position.
Apply at 750 hours total time: Applicants applying at 750 flight hours are required to obtain at least 1,000 flight hours (depending on the number of hours approved for a waiver) at their own expense before being able to attend the 3-part flight assessment. Applicants must still meet 250 Pilot-in-Command, 75 instrument, and 75-night hours (100 flight hours in the last 12 months. This qualification requirement is currently being waived by OPM through August 4, 2026)
UAS Flight Hours:Applicants may include UAS Predator A (MQ-1), Predator B (MQ-9) flight hours and Predator A (MQ-1), Predator B (MQ-9) or predator-based flight hours. These hours may be credited towards satisfying the ""Total flight time"" 1,500 flight hour requirement only. UAS hours do not count towards the 250 flight hours as a Pilot in Command, 75 flight hours Instrument, and 75 flight hours Night. Flight hour logbooks will be required at the time of your Flight Assessment for verification.
