ROLE PURPOSE/ POSITION SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Manager (SCM) is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain processes and improvement of service, inventory, and cost to customers. The SCM manages and oversees the day-to-day activities of customer service, production scheduling, procurement, storage, and inventory control activities of raw materials, ingredients, and finished goods. Deliverables range across key customer and vendor management, short and long-term material and production planning, and materials management. The role requires strategic thinking, effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and a commitment to ensuring the efficient and timely flow of materials and products
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the entire supply chain to align with the company's business goals and objectives
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and enhanced efficiency
- Maintain a clear understanding of customer expectations for accuracy, quality, and timeliness; then, develop and implement methods for meeting or exceeding those expectations
- Accountable for departmental project deliverables. Secure and allocate appropriate resources and manage projects to meet goals and achieve financial objectives
- Leverage internal/external experts in network to accomplish goals
- Responsible for delivery of short-term and-long term results in order to develop and maintain the organizationβs credibility with our core customer base
Procurement and Vendor Management
- Oversee the procurement of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging materials
- Support the account manager to negotiate terms, contracts, and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability
Production Planning
- Manage the day to day and week to week production schedule
- Collaborate internally and externally with key shareholders to develop production schedules that meet demand forecasts
- Optimize production processes to ensure efficient resource utilization
- Analyze production yield, material usage, and material loss data to understand customer/material impacts
- Analyze actual and theoretical run rates to optimize production schedule
- Maximize production efficiency through change to current planning processes which will result in reduced changeovers, machine downtime and downtime due to raw materials/component shortages
Logistics and Distribution
- Manage transportation and distribution logistics to ensure on-time deliveries to customers
- Coordinate with logistics partners to optimize shipping routes and reduce costs
Inventory Management
- Implement inventory control measures to maintain optimal stock levels
- Minimize excess inventory and prevent stockouts to meet customer demand
- Drive change in managing inventory levels and inventory turns and minimizing obsolescence, scrap, aged inventories, and inventory reserves
Quality Control
- Ensure that quality control standards are maintained throughout the supply chain process
- Collaborate with quality control teams to address and resolve any quality issues
Technology Integration
- Implement and leverage technology, such as ERP systems and supply chain management software, to enhance visibility and streamline processes
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal and external teams, including production, sales, finance, and quality control, to ensure alignment and coordination across departments
- Foster strong relationships with key external partners, including suppliers and logistics providers
- Participate and assist in development of new, effective programs/policies for customer, supplier, transportation, and logistics management in conjunction with Supply Chain and plant leadership
- Provide daily, weekly and or monthly inventory and service reports to internal and external shareholders, as well as participate in the monthly metrics review
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead and motivate the supply chain team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members
Risk Management
- Identify and assess potential risks in the supply chain, including disruptions, and develop mitigation strategies
- Monitor and respond to changes in market conditions that may impact the supply chain
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing food safety, quality, and supply chain practices

ROLE PURPOSE/POSITION SUMMARY
Provides direction to the Production departmentβs operations in areas of safety, quality, performance, service and leadership. Responsible for customer relationships by providing superior customer service through: planning, cost, efficiency, loss controls and quality assurance.

- This position has responsibility for Food Safety and Quality within their influence. The associate in this job has the responsibility to report, in a timely manner, Food Safety and Quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action on those problems
- As a member of the management team, to recognize the SQF Practitioner as having the appropriate responsibility and authority to do his job
- Ensure that all department members are informed of their responsibility to report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action
- Ensure that job descriptions for those responsible for food safety are documented and include provision to cover for the absence of key personnel

ROLE PURPOSE/ POSITION SUMMARY
The Plant Manager is accountable for overseeing the daily operations of the food manufacturing facility, including production, quality assurance, maintenance, sanitation, safety, and supply chain. This role ensures adherence to food safety standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., HACCP, GMP, FDA, USDA) while delivering against production goals and cost targets. The Plant Manager will lead cross-functional teams to continuously improve processes, reduce waste, enhance productivity, and ensure timely delivery of products to customers. In addition, this position plays a key role in shaping plant culture, driving employee engagement, and fostering a safe workplace. Collaboration with the executive leadership team and corporate support teams is essential to ensure alignment with broader business objectives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Accountabilities
Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure full compliance with all food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, SQF, BRC) and regulatory requirements from agencies such as the FDA, USDA, and local health departments.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee daily plant operations to ensure consistent, efficient, and high-quality production that meets customer demand and company standards.
Quality Assurance:
Maintain rigorous quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet internal specifications and external customer and regulatory expectations.
Health & Workplace Safety:
Lead a safety-first culture by maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment. Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
Supply Chain & Inventory Management:
Manage raw materials, packaging, and finished goods flow to ensure timely production and delivery while minimizing waste and spoilage.
Financial Performance:
Deliver against plant financial objectives by managing budgets, controlling costs, optimizing labor and materials, and improving operational efficiencies.

Lead, coach, and develop the plant team to foster engagement, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality assurance, sanitation, warehousing, and logistics.
- Ensure strict adherence to all food safety programs, conducting internal audits and leading external inspections as needed.
- Oversee daily production schedules, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with customers, quality, procurement, and supply chain teams to support new product launches, reformulations, and special runs.
- Monitor KPIs (e.g., reliability, yield, downtime, complaints, waste) and implement action plans for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with procurement and planning to manage raw material inventory, minimize shortages or overstock, and optimize warehouse space.
- Ensure all sanitation and cleaning protocols are executed according to schedule and verified for compliance.
- Champion a proactive safety culture by conducting regular safety audits, training, and incident investigations.
- Develop and manage plant operating budgets, capital projects, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Foster a positive and productive working environment through regular communication, performance reviews, and employee development.
- Lead crisis management efforts for food recalls, contamination risks, or emergency shutdowns.
- Report on plant performance to senior leadership and recommend operational strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS/ CAPABILITY PROFILE
Minimum Education
- Bachelorβs degree in Food Science, Engineering, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Masterβs degree (MBA or related field) may be considered an asset, especially for larger or more complex operations.
Minimum Experience
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in food manufacturing or a closely related industry.
- 5+ years of direct experience in plant operations management, including oversight of production, quality, safety, and supply chain functions.
- Proven track record of managing in a regulated food production environment, with demonstrated understanding of HACCP, GMP, SQF, and FDA/USDA regulations.
- Experience leading and developing cross-functional teams in a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated success in implementing continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) with measurable operational and financial impact.
- Strong background in budget management, cost control, and performance metrics.
- Experience working with ERP and manufacturing systems, preferably in a food manufacturing context (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or industry-specific platforms).
- Experience with customer audits, third-party certifications, and government inspections is highly desirable.

Duties and Responsibilities
As an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA) you will perform aviation-based law enforcement operations for the detection, prevention, interdiction, and apprehension of terrorists, terrorist weapons, and other contraband and persons from illegally entering or attacking the United States. Typical duties include:
- Conducting air patrol, surveillance, and pursuit activities related to the interdiction of smuggled contraband via land vehicles, aircraft, or vessels.
- Monitoring behavior patterns and activities of suspect persons, vehicles, or vessels believed to be engaged in illegal activities.
- Collecting, refining, and analyzing strategic and tactical intelligence.
- Supporting search and rescue and humanitarian efforts.
Salary and Benefits
Begin your career as an Air Interdiction Agent (AIA) and make up to $85,270 to - $110,846 per year based on your qualifications for the GS-11 grade level and possible extra compensation based on your duty location (see below).
Recruitment Incentive:New hires may be eligible to receive a one-time Recruitment Incentive payout of $10,000 after completing Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy (FLETC) (1 year service agreement will need to be completed) (Recruitment Incentive is only available to new Federal employees as described in 5 CFR 575.102. Qualifications
Experience:You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized professional aviation experience performing duties such as:
- Flying as a Pilot-in-Command or sole manipulator in an airplane and helicopter in all environments of flight, including night, poor weather, unfavorable terrain, low altitudes, or speed.
- Evaluating information rapidly and making judicious decisions promptly during in-flight operations.
- Developing strategies and coordinating aircraft and ground assets.
- Using information systems and databases to conduct information surveys, queries, update files and disseminate information.
- Experience may include Operation of an aircraft as Captain, Pilot in Command, Aircraft Commander, First Officer, Certified Flight Instructor, Second in Command, or Co-pilot.
Hiring Minimums:
Certification & Ratings: A current FAA Commercial or ATP Pilot Certification with one of the following ratings:
- Dual Rated: Airplane (Single-engine land or multi-engine land) with instrument rating AND Rotorcraft Helicopter with instrument rating.
- Airplane Rated: Airplane (Single-engine land or multi-engine land) with instrument.
- Helicopter Rated: Rotorcraft Helicopter with instrument rating.
- Equivalent military rating of the above at the time of application (eligibility based on military flight experience must provide official orders, forms or logbooks showing their status as a rated military pilot).
Flight Hours: Pilot Enter on Duty minimums are 1500 flight hours; (up to 500 hours can be waived, reducing the pilot enter on duty minimums to 1000 hours.
250 Pilot-in-Command hours; 75 Instrument hours; 75 Night hours (Flight Hour Waiver available, see Required Documents); and 100 Flight hours in the last 12 months This qualification requirement is currently being waived by OPM through August 5, 2025.
FAA Class 2 medical required for assessment dated within the last 12 calendar months; FAA Class 1, FAA Class 2 or Military medical flight clearance dated within the last 12 months qualifies to start the pre-employment process for the AIA position.
Apply at 750 hours total time: Applicants applying at 750 flight hours are required to obtain at least 1,000 flight hours (depending on the number of hours approved for a waiver) at their own expense before being able to attend the 3-part flight assessment. Applicants must still meet 250 Pilot-in-Command, 75 instrument, and 75-night hours (100 flight hours in the last 12 months. This qualification requirement is currently being waived by OPM through August 4, 2026)
UAS Flight Hours:Applicants may include UAS Predator A (MQ-1), Predator B (MQ-9) flight hours and Predator A (MQ-1), Predator B (MQ-9) or predator-based flight hours. These hours may be credited towards satisfying the ""Total flight time"" 1,500 flight hour requirement only. UAS hours do not count towards the 250 flight hours as a Pilot in Command, 75 flight hours Instrument, and 75 flight hours Night. Flight hour logbooks will be required at the time of your Flight Assessment for verification.
Other Requirements
Citizenship: You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this position.

This includes integration of PLCs, HMIs, and machine vision systems with robotic and mechanical components.
