• Identify opportunities for quality improvement across manufacturing processes and support implementation of corrective actions.
• Evaluate supplier quality systems and coordinate corrective actions when vendor performance does not meet established standards.

• Lead or support major quality and process improvement projects as assigned.

• Document work processes, procedures, and work instructions while identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Investigate product non-conformances by collaborating with Materials and Operations teams to determine root cause and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Manage the Corrective Action program to ensure timely resolution of quality issues and long-term process improvements.
• Perform additional duties as required to support quality and operational objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 2–5 years of applied experience in quality engineering, quality management, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO-9001 and AAR M-1003 standards.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher preferred.
• Certified Quality Auditor (ISO-9001) preferred.
• ASQ certification or other recognized quality certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to interpret technical procedures, engineering documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multiple levels of the organization and mentor team members as needed.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer systems.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% as required.

Job Title : Nuclear Engineer (Naval Reactors Engineer) Category / Component : Officer • Active Overview Design, regulate, and oversee the Navy's nuclear propulsion program, including reactor design, fleet operations, and eventual defueling and decommissioning of nuclear powered ships and submarines from Naval Reactors Headquarters and associated Department of Energy laboratories and shipyards.

Key Responsibilities Provide technical direction in areas such as reactor and fluid systems design, reactor physics, materials development, component design for steam generators, pumps, and valves, instrumentation and control for reactor and propulsion plants, testing and quality control, radiation shielding, and chemistry and radiological controls; review designs and analyses from laboratories, shipyards, and industry partners; coordinate with fleet units to ensure safe and reliable nuclear plant operation.
