What You Will Do

• Support the design, development, and application of medium-fidelity digital simulation software in advanced technical computing environments.
• Contribute to system modeling, mission and engagement-level simulation, and data analysis to assess system performance, effectiveness, and survivability across operational scenarios.
• Develop and implement analytical approaches to support mission trade studies, performance evaluations, and system design decisions, ensuring alignment with defined requirements.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Experience using numerical computing environments, e.g., JMP, MATLAB, or Excel

As a Principal System Safety Engineer, you will be accountable for the establishment and execution of the major safety programs. What You Will Do

• Practical application of project management skills:
  • Create/update the strategy for the program to meet all its milestones with system safety features integrated into the product in compliance with contract and awarded funding.
  • Create a schedule and integrate safety tasks and activities into program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).

Qualifications You Must Have

• Experience developing and implementing MIL-STD-882E System Safety Program tasks and analyses, involving management (task series 100), analysis (task series 200), evaluation (task series 300), and verification (task series 400). This includes hardware and software safety related tasks.
• Experience with presentation skills to brief safety status to safety approval authority at technical reviews, safety review boards, and others as part of the safety approval process.

The Shipboard Effectors Department is currently searching for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer II to work on a multi-discipline team to support the production of Shipboard Effectors products and subsystems located in Huntsville, AL.

This is an onsite role with regular support required in a production missile integration facility.

This position requires strong communication skills to collaborate across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality. Experience with hardware integration and test, supplier first article inspections, production work instructions and failure investigation principals are strongly desired.

Candidate will work closely with Integrated Product Team Leads/Program Managers to ensure that engineering requirements are defined, risks are managed, and schedules/budgets are met. • Contribute to finding solutions to a wide range of technical problems related to the design, manufacture, integration, and production sustainment of various mechanical subsystems, including support in the engineering lab and the factory floor both at Raytheon and at suppliers
• Support first article inspections, work instruction reviews, material dispositions, and root cause investigations for production issues. Decisions are data driven and require preparing technical justification analysis reports and presenting to a variety of Engineering Review Boards

Job Description:
This position is for a Principal Design Engineer. If you enjoy working with hands-on multidiscipline teams, the Test Solutions Engineering Center (TSEC) is interested in hearing from you.

The Test Solutions (TS) Effectors Center (TSEC) within the Hardware Engineering Discipline is a multi-discipline organization responsible for developing Production and Engineering test equipment solutions for all Raytheon products. We are hands-on designers using the latest technology and tools and integrating state-of-the-art software solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world. TS products are in engineering labs, in the field, and in factories and production testing environments utilized for testing weapon system products. TS has job opportunities across all phases of the engineering lifecycle, including demonstrations, early engineering tests, design verification tests, production, and post-production sustainment.

This Principal Engineer hardware position is focused on supporting and driving the design, development, integration, and maintenance of electronics as a part of on-site factory support of test systems to support weapon system product development and deliveries. The selected candidate will support and drive the development of electrical designs, Interconnect designs, electrical system analysis and integrated development environment specified by the factory solutions and the TSEC organization.

• Produce analytical and product-focused presentations for both internal and external audiences.
