Responsibilities
Rooming patients: Collecting pertinent information regarding the patient's chief complaint, family history, social history, surgical history, and medication reconciliation upon arrival for a patient visit. Telephone Interactions: As directed, completing necessary telephone communications with patients, families, pharmacies, and/or other health care facilities. Gathering information and maintaining patient information via telephone per department specific processes and policies. Administrative tasks including, but not limited to, patient check in or check out, prior authorizations, scheduling appointments, verification of benefits, and coordination of referrals and testing. Call medications into pharmacies, notify patients of refills, and documents actions within the EMR per provider orders. Primary Purpose of Position

- Support CEC and fleet in the areas of business initiatives, project management, refuel outage support, emergency preparedness duties, and special projects.
- Supervises the collection and maintenance of auditable training records and reports required to document training program activities.
- Participates in NRC, INPO and management audits, and prepares responses to audit findings.

- Keep a daily duty log of maintenance work performed as well as accurate records of preventative maintenance
- Should possess practical skill and proficient knowledge in two or more trades, such as: mechanical, electrical, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, carpentry, welding and small combustion engine repair and maintenance
- Must be able to trouble-shoot clearly, calmly and safely in the presence of Guests and fellow Team Members
- Should have strong mechanical, electrical & hydraulic experience

- PRN position
- Join a team of 2 GI Hospitalists, 7 Outpatient Gastroenterologists, and 12 APPs
- Carle Foundation Hospital and the Carle Cancer Institute are adjacent to the Digestive Health Center
- 7 on 7 off schedule
- Call is split with other GI Hospitalists
- 5 APPs assist with inpatient rounding
- Ability to perform outpatient procedures in a new state-of-the-art, 10-suite Digestive Health Center
