About the Role 

As the Assistant Director of Operations, you will be responsible for the following scope of work.

  • Support all logistics for school-year and summer programming, including management of vendors, transportation, and food services. 
  • Assist with compliance and execution of human resources functions such as benefits administration, issuing staff contracts, and staff onboarding. 
  • Manage logistics for staff learning opportunities and community building to ensure a highly effective and collaborative team culture. 
  • Conduct market research to grow and refine human resources policies.
  • Oversee office systems to ensure an efficient and productive work environment. 
  • Lead technology initiatives and troubleshooting, including Google Suite oversight and student chromebook management. 
  • Assist with key financial projects, including invoice processing, budgeting, and coordinating vendor payments. 
  • Support student information management systems, ensuring data is accurate and up-to-date.  
  • Lead the continued launch and rollout of ATA’s new Salesforce database. 
  • Oversee supply procurement in an efficient and highly cost effective manner. 
  • Serve as an advisor to a group of current ATA students and families.
  • Support additional programmatic projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in schools, nonprofits and/or the public sector is a plus. 
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus. 
  • Experience with independent schools and/or Boston Public Schools is a plus.
  • Fluency in Spanish, Haitian Creole, and/or Portuguese is preferred.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule - some Saturday and evening work is required.


The Details

This is a full-time role with expectations and benefits commensurate with all full-time roles at ATA.

  • Location: Our team works together in our Jamaica Plain office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with optional remote days on Wednesdays and Fridays. During the 6-week Summer Leadership Program we are in-person every day.
  • Benefits: We offer a strong benefit package including healthcare, dental, vision, a 401K option, and a generous PTO policy including holiday closures.
  • Compensation: Salary for this position starts at $56,000 and is commensurate with experience. 
  • Start Date: Recognizing that many qualified candidates for this role may currently be in school-year contracts, we are offering a flexible start date, no later than June 15.

The Student Engagement Specialist is primarily responsible to ensure that employees of our existing healthcare and healthcare adjacent partners are aware of our programs, provides insight and motivation for those employees to enroll in our programs, and works with our account management teams to ensure we are cohesively providing the highest level of service and support to those employees. The Student Engagement Specialist produces workforce solutions leads (employees and other related students) for Covista programs which are primarily produced by having meaningful conversations and recording information from prospective students (the employees of our partners). The Student Engagement Specialist accurately and faithfully communicating Covista capabilities, mission, and focus to prospective students, ensures that we honor our relationships with our partners and that we deliver world-class service to their employees. While primary focused on growing qualifying student leads, the Student Engagement Specialist will also work to ensure new and expanded sources of leads from our partner institutions which may be serviced and nurtured by the team.

This role is location specific and requires the candidate to be based in Massachusetts, New Hampshire or Vermont.

Responsibilities

  • Engages directly with employees of healthcare and healthcare adjacent partners to ensure those employees have the information, context and motivation to seek enrollment at Covista institutions; works to identify alumni at our partner institutions that can serve as reference and connects them to prospective students.

Summary:

As a Strategic Account Executive, you will own, protect and grow long-term relationships with existing large, high-value, complex enterprise clients, including Fortune 500 companies. These accounts are long-term contracted customers and represent a significant portion of our revenue, requiring a proactive, consultative and detail-oriented approach to ensure satisfaction, retention, and growth. Your role involves providing exceptional customer service, administrative support, and presenting white-glove, consultative solutions to senior-level customer stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned strategic accounts, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and engagement
  • This role follows a land‑and‑expand model, with approximately 70% focused on strategic account management and 30% on identifying and driving growth opportunities within existing accounts
  • Manage all aspects of client relationships, including inquiries, administrative tasks, and escalations, with professionalism and urgency

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, sales or marketing
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, client success, or consultative/solution-based sales roles, preferably with large enterprise clients

This position will develop, design, implement and optimize AMA Ed
Hub marketing plans and tactics to help achieve mission and business growth and
engagement objectives for AMA Ed Hub. Leverage analytics-driven insights to advance

AMA Ed Hub personalization through segmentation, adherence to digital best
practices and utilization and optimization of email and platform automation. Collaborate
with cross-functional teams, including content, product, analytics and other
internal stakeholders, to develop personalized campaigns while enhancing campaign

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and Implement Personalization Plans

  • Develop and execute acquisition and retention marketing plans for AMA Ed Hub users, leveraging personalization as a key driver of increase audience relevance, conversion and retention.
  • Develop data-driven audience segments to deliver personalized messaging across channels while building and maintaining automated nurture and retention flows to drive audience engagement.
  • Work closely with analysts, editors, web developers, and others to ensure the accurate branding, editorial accuracy and technical integrity of all content in marketing efforts.
