Role Description

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will regularly visit and tour customer facilities while actively prospecting and developing new business opportunities. This role requires strong field presence, relationship-building, and consistent engagement with both existing and prospective customers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: completing daily call reports, submitting monthly expense reports, maintaining frequent communication with customers as well as internal office and warehouse teams, and participating in regular sales meetings.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the steel manufacturing and fabrication industry
  • Valid state driver’s license with the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation and customer-facing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems
  • Proven negotiation and closing abilities

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Previous experience in the sale of laser processed material
  • Sale of HSS products to manufacturers and fabricators
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
