About The Role

For many clients, litigation is overwhelming. As their attorney, you will be a steady guide through an unfamiliar and often stressful process, providing clarity, protection, and advocacy when it matters most. Your ability to think critically and act decisively will directly impact case outcomes. By managing your own caseload, you will drive litigation forward, advocate for clients, and develop strategies that lead to successful resolutions. Responsibilities

• Conduct case intake, reviewing files, speaking with insured clients, and gathering key information from claim files

• File responsive pleadings within statutory deadlines, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procedural requirements

• Draft and serve discovery requests and responses, coordinating with clients to obtain necessary information

• Communicate directly with insureds and claims representatives to provide case updates and manage expectations

• Take and defend depositions, applying strategic questioning techniques to assess credibility and claim validity

• Analyze non-party records, including prior medical histories and employment records, to identify inconsistencies in plaintiff testimony

• Prepare detailed case evaluations, summarizing legal issues, liability assessments, and potential exposure for insurance carriers

• Engage in motion practice, drafting and arguing motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, and other pretrial motions

• Develop and execute litigation strategies, working collaboratively with senior attorneys and support staff

• Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations, advocating for cost-effective resolutions while protecting client interests

• Prepare cases for trial, including jury selection strategy, witness preparation, and trial exhibit organization

• Represent clients in court proceedings, handling motion hearings, arbitrations, and trials with confidence and professionalism

• Meet a 1,750 annual billable hour requirement while maintaining an updated task list in the firm's practice management system to ensure accurate time tracking, data integrity, and seamless case handoffs

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active membership in the Georgia State Bar with minimum 2 years experience (preferred)

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to independently manage a caseload effectively

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions, depositions, and court advocacy

• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and handle fast-moving litigation deadlines

• Resourceful, proactive, and self-sufficient in problem-solving—able to anticipate needs, seek out solutions, and take initiative without waiting for direction

Practice Specifics

  • Become part of a well-established, multidisciplinary Heart & Vascular team that includes interventional and non-invasive cardiologists, electrophysiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, vascular surgeons, advanced practitioners, and a dedicated nursing and technical staff.
  • Work in state-of-the-art facilities equipped with cutting-edge imaging technologies and a fully equipped cardiovascular lab. 
  • Engage with a diverse patient population, treating a wide range of cardiac conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with a strong emphasis on prevention, diagnosis, and management of cardiovascular conditions. 
  • Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac tests, including echocardiography, stress testing, nuclear cardiology, CCT, and CMR. 
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create personalized treatment plans for patients.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree. 

·Board-certified or board-eligible in cardiovascular disease. 

·Expertise in non-invasive imaging modalities. 

·cardiac CT would be desired and CMRI reading would be plus

·Eligible for medical licensure in Minnesota. 

·A strong commitment to patient care and clinical excellence.

Compensation

Position Summary

This role provides dedicated overnight cardiology coverage to support inpatient services, CV diagnostic study interpretation, improve care continuity, and enhance physician sustainability across the East Market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overnight inpatient cardiology coverage on the Duluth campus
  • Manage acute and complex cardiovascular conditions, including:
  • Acute coronary syndromes
  • Decompensated heart failure
  • Arrhythmias disorders
  • Post-procedural and post-interventional cardiovascular care
  • Respond to overnight cardiology consults from the Emergency Department, ICU,  inpatient units and outside facilities
  • Provide ECG interpretation and cardiovascular clinical decision support
  • Interpret adult transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs), including urgent and routine studies
  • Collaborate with interventional, electrophysiology, and heart failure teams as needed

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in cardiovascular disease
  • Demonstrated competency in adult transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) interpretation

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.

Typical assignments include:

  • Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
  • Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers of aliens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations.

  • Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
  • Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.

If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.

GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, with the authority granted by the state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes, performing primary duties in an official law enforcement capacity such as:
