Job Summary

Data Analysts analyze data, interpret trends and patterns, and provide insights to support decision-making processes. They develop data models, perform data mining and statistical analysis, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize data-driven strategies.



Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources, databases, and systems to extract insights, trends, and patterns that inform business decisions, strategies, and operations.

Responsibilities

The Institutional Research Data Analyst will also be expected to perform various duties specific to institutional research, including but not limited to:

  • Responding to intermediate to high difficulty/complexity ad-hoc data and analysis requests
  • Adhering to federal, state, and institutional policies, regulations, and requirements related to data security, privacy, and governance
  • Completing or supporting the completion of externally-driven compliance and data-related reporting including

    • Federal, e.g., IPEDS, NSF-HERD, NSF-GSS, etc.

The School of Cybersecurity and Privacy, ranked #2 in Cybersecurity, is one of five schools in the #5 ranked College of Computing. As the home to the world's leading undergraduate and graduate program in cybersecurity and privacy, The School of Cybersecurity & Privacy (SCP) at Georgia Tech is a growing academic unit that consists of 30+ tenure-track and research (including several holders of endowed chairs) faculty, postdocs, adjunct faculty and professional staff. This distinguished group comes from Computing, Engineering, Social Science and Business Colleges. The School of Cybersecurity & Privacy offers bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees.

Job Summary

The Senior Platform Architect will lead the technical architecture, design, and modernization of large-scale, multi-tenant enterprise SaaS platforms built on Azure and the .NET stack. This role requires mastery of distributed systems, cloud-native design, and advanced engineering practices to deliver highly available, performant, and secure solutions for global consumer-facing SaaS and Agentic AI products.

Architectural Design & Transformation

  • Lead migration from monolithic systems to modular monolith and microservices architectures using domain-driven design, bounded contexts, and decomposition strategies.
  • Design multi-tenant SaaS platforms with advanced tenant isolation, resource partitioning, and elastic scaling using Azure services.

Department Information

The Finance Area consists of eleven tenure-track faculty members and includes one endowed chair. Faculty members have diverse backgrounds and pursue a variety of research interests, including asset pricing, corporate finance, banking, household finance, labor finance, FinTech, and machine learning. They publish in the premier outlets of finance and adjacent fields, and their research has received numerous scholarly awards. Additional information about our faculty can be found at . Through the Financial Service Innovation Lab (), the finance area collaborates with many companies and has access to several proprietary datasets. Finally, the finance area hosts two major conferences annually: the AI and Future of Finance Conference and the Georgia Tech - Atlanta Fed Household Finance Conference.

Responsibilities

The Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia seeks applications to fill an Assistant Professor of Finance position in the Finance Area.

Job responsibilities: The primary duties will be to conduct research, teach at the undergraduate and graduate level, and provide service to the College, the Institute, and the finance profession.
