Primary responsibilities include:


QUALITY

  • Develop, implement, and oversee company Performance Improvement and Risk Management programs including Infection Control, Biomedical Waste, Safety, Incident Reporting, Ethics and Grievances/Complaints in conjunction with the Clinical Services Regional Vice President, Compliance Regional Director, and the Clinical Education Area Director.
  • Identify trends within offices and throughout organization to develop Plans of Action/Correction, implement best practices and/or update Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensure programs reflect current regulations, standards, and clinical protocols.
  • Develop annual training for field nurses on the above programs and other necessary items.
  • Advise Executive Leadership team on appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
  • Assist with and serve on the Compliance and Performance Improvement Committees
  • Develop, implement, and oversee nurses’ orientation and competency program including initial, ongoing and remediation.
  • Serve as a Back Up Safety Officer for the organization on absences of the Clinical Services Regional Vice President
  • Assist with the implementation and roll-out of new technology initiatives as needed.
  • Evaluate and provide recommendations for updates for clinical and operational forms and processes on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures reflect compliance with current applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Ensure occurrence of consistent process implementation across organization.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Recruiter, Clinical Service Directors, Business Operations Area Director, and Business Operations Director to ensure adequate and timely recruiting in all markets thereby ensuring client coverage and minimizing overtime. Introduce new and creative recruiting strategies as needed to increase hires and maximize ROI.
  • Maintain high level of communication with Senior and Regional leadership and Clinical Services Directors regarding pending clients, potential issues, new processes, etc. including leading weekly clinical department meetings.
  • Work in conjunction with Senior and Regional Leadership, Director of Contract Development, Business Operations Directors and Clinical Service Directors to provide competitive advantages and maximize payer relationships.
  • Continue to support and facilitate organization growth, specifically pediatric skilled agency business, by assisting Regional and Local Leadership.
  • Maintain a high level of client and caregiver satisfaction by quick follow-up and resolution to escalated issues, appropriate matching of client needs and caregiver skill, etc.
  • Be available during office hours for surveys and after hours for issues that arise.
  • Identify any clinical or compliance gaps that exist and provide solutions to remedy.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as needed.

CLINICAL COMPLIANCE

  • In conjunction with the Compliance Regional Director and Clinical Services Regional Vice President, ensure adherence to and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, contracts, accreditation standards and policies and procedures of assigned offices by: Developing and implementing proactive audit program throughout organization including periodic site visits. Identifying trends within offices and organization and developing Plans of Correction to mitigate. Ensuring all applicable verifications, evaluations, competencies, and checks are completed timely.
  • Assist with all surveys in assigned regions in conjunction with the Compliance Regional Director by: Ensuring all assigned office licenses, CEMPs and personnel are up to date and renewals/changes filed timely. Providing offices will all necessary survey information and preparation. Oversee Plans of Action or Plans of Correction development and submission for any deficiencies.
  • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of clinical processes, policies, and procedures.

MANAGEMENT

  • Hire, develop and supervise high potential Clinical Service Directors.
  • Provide clinical and compliance mentorship, guidance and support to office and field staff of assigned region.
  • Conduct counseling, coaching and annual performance evaluations for all assigned Clinical Service Directors and ensure they are properly supervising their field staff
  • Develop successor planning and staff development.
  • Monitor, manage and oversee all assigned Clinical Service Director payroll and time off requests (PTO approval).
  • Participate in budgeting or annual planning activities as requested.
  • Submit all requested reports, action plans, etc. timely to management as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current Colorado RN License with BSN or higher strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as an RN required.
  • 3+ years in pediatric skilled home care strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years experience in supervisory or management experience preferred
  • Intermediate competency with computers and other technology that are utilized to conduct job functions.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Must be able to solve complex problems and function effectively and often autonomously in a stressful work environment.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English

Responsibilities

Ensure the overall coordination of home health services provided to the patient is delivered according to acceptable standards of practice and company procedures. Review and approve patient information submitted by the licensed professional during a start of care, recertification, resumption of care, or evaluation visit. Facilitate the relationship between physicians, referral sources, patients, caregivers, and employees.


Qualifications
  • Must be a graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
  • Must be licensed in the state in which they currently practice, or in accordance with the board of nursing rules for nurse licensure compact for the state in which they practice.

  • Reviews patient history, physician orders, and lab results to ensure appropriateness. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation. Analyzes imaging results and identifies any quality concerns for further action.
  • When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice. Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate. Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Performs Point of Care Testing (POCT) and Moderate Complexity Laboratory Testing according to laboratory procedures. Maintains proficiency in testing samples and adheres to quality control policies. Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results. Resolves image quality issues, including re-positioning patient and repeating procedure. Enters, transmits and reports scan results.
  • Conducts Electrocardiogram (EKG) procedures, vital assessments, splinting assistance and other routine patient care tasks as required.
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.


Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.


  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered, and or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). State licensure if required by law.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.

Work Environment

Navy Physicians work in a variety of settings, including military medical facilities, ships, and field hospitals, both domestically and internationally. As a Navy Physician, you can work at one of the highly acclaimed National Naval Medical Centers in Bethesda, MD; Portsmouth, VA; and San Diego, CA. You might even provide medical support to deployed troops aboard one of two dedicated hospital ships-the USNS Comfort and USNS Mercy. Still more opportunities are available aboard a surface ship, working closely with a nearby aircraft squadron, or with the Fleet Marine Force. Reserve Physicians primarily drill one weekend a month at a location near their home.

Training & Advancement

Upon graduation from medical school, those pursuing a Physician position are required to attend Officer Development School (ODS) in Newport, RI. ODS is a five-week program that provides a comprehensive and intense introduction to the responsibilities of Navy Staff Corps Officers. Here they learn about the military structure of the U.S. Navy, its rich history of traditions and customs, leadership development and military etiquette.

Once that training is complete, you will learn the ins and outs of life as a Navy Physician at your first assignment.

Qualifications & Requirements

A degree from a four-year college or university is a minimum educational requirement to become a Commissioned Officer. You must also attend Officer Training. There may be exceptions to the degree requirements based on extensive service experience. Additional qualifications include:

* Be a U.S. citizen currently practicing in the U.S.
* Be a graduate of an eligible medical school accredited by the AMA or the AOA
* Have completed one year of graduate-level medical education in a program approved by the AMA or AOA (interns currently in training may also apply)
* Have an MD or DO degree
* Have a current state medical license within one year of entering the Navy Medical Corps
* Be willing to serve a minimum of two years of Active Duty

Navy commissioned physicians attend to service members and their families. They have opportunities to participate in humanitarian relief efforts at home and around the world. Physicians in the Navy Reserve serve in an Officer role. Before receiving the ongoing professional training that comes with this job, initial training requirements must first be met.

US Navy Reserve Medicine

Serving part-time as a Reservist, your duties will be conducted during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Physicians in the Reserve typically drill at a location close to their homes. This gives the flexibility to expand your medical experiences in the Navy without compromising your civilian practice at home.

Most of what you do in the Navy Reserve is considered training. The basic Navy Reserve commitment involves training a minimum of one weekend a month (referred to as drilling) and two weeks a year (referred to as Annual Training) - or the equivalent.

Furthermore, serving as a Reservist physician allows for unique and exciting experiences beyond patient care. Career-long learning in areas within and beyond medicine is both the goal and expectation. You will have the opportunity to shape policy, teach, lead and mentor young men and women, and, if you choose to do so, potentially fly with aviators, sail on ships, dive with the submariners, and/or serve alongside Marines and special operators.

Pulmonary and Critical Care physicians serve essential roles as critical wartime specialists in the military healthcare system. Their efforts in our nation's conflicts have contributed to innovations and advancements in medical care because of their unique qualifications and training, military experiences and/or by their proximity to armed conflicts. These efforts have contributed to unprecedented survival rates in the recent Afghanistan and Persian Gulf conflicts. Pulmonologists and Intensivists also worked on the front lines of the Department of War's COVID-19 pandemic medical response.

For the required two week annual training, physicians may serve anywhere, whether at sea, in hospitals stateside, or in bases and camps in countries around the world.

Job Requirements:

MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy; foreign graduates may apply with a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG)

* Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico
* Eligibility for board certification
* Completion of at least one year of an approved graduate medical education program
* Between 21 and 42 years of age (waivers may be granted on a case-by-case basis up to age 68)

For current or former Navy Officers (NAVET): Prior experience satisfies the initial leadership training requirement - so you will not need to go through Officer Training again.

For current or former Officers of military branches other than the Navy (OSVET), as well as for Officer candidates without prior military experience: Officer Candidates are required to attend Officer Development School (ODS) in Newport, RI. ODS is a five-week program that provides a comprehensive and intense introduction to the responsibilities of Navy Staff Corps Officers. Officers who previously held a commission in another United States Military Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Public Health Service, or United States Coast Guard are exempt from attending ODS or LDO/CWO Academy.

Responsibilities

Our Physical Therapists examine and treat patients with physical impairments through the use of physical modalities. The goal is to assist persons who are physically challenged to improve mobility and function, independent self-care, other skills necessary for functioning in daily living. Responsibilities

Our Occupational Therapists/OTs help patients who have debilitating conditions improve the functions of performing everyday tasks in the home. Occupational Therapists/OTs use treatments to develop the daily living skills of their patients and the basic motor functions of patients, as well as to compensate for any loss of function that patient may be experiencing.
