Performs the essential duties and responsibilities and the primary functions of Applications Manager. - Manage and lead a technical staff of application specialists, including creating job descriptions, hiring, training, evaluation and job assignments.
- Design and manage application implementations, upgrades and ongoing support, including overall project management and project schedules.
- Allocate and schedule staff to support the various Hospital Information System software applications employed throughout the organization.
- Maintain current knowledge of trends and advances in Healthcare Information Systems software applications, including Financial, Clinical, Decision Support and other application categories.
- Maintain current knowledge of regulatory and certification environments, including but not limited to DNV, ISO9001, HIPAA and HITECH.
- Assure current maintenance of all licensure and contract renewals for all Hospital Information System software applications.
- Provides logistical support of all departmental Hospital Information System software This does not include standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office applications.
- Assumes primary responsibility in the evaluation, acquisition and implementation of new Healthcare Information System applications.
- Coordinates all resources necessary for the periodic upgrades of production Hospital Information Systems applications.
- Assures that adequate training resources are available for all Hospital Information System applications and that appropriate training of all hospital and medical staff is completed.
- Assures quality control in all software implementations and upgrades.
- Assures that responses to all non-routine user requests are performed in a timely manner.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A mental development equivalent to completion of a 4 year college degree in Information Technology and includes an ability to apply principles of logic and scientific thought to a wide range of intellectual problems.
- Three years experience managing a variety of health care information systems in an acute care hospital environment.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers, supervisors and personnel from other departments.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Current State of Texas License as a Radiology Technologist.
- ARRT registered in Mammography or registry eligible. Must pass mammography registry within 6 months of hire date.
- Licensure Requirements – 15 mammography direct CEU credit hours in a rolling three- year time period in addition to the 24 CEU credit hours required for ARRT.
- Prefer Minimum of 1 year of experience as a diagnostic technologist.
- Documented 40 hours of mammography training and completion of 25 exams under direct supervision of an experienced technologist.
- Total Joint & Spine Center initial and annual education: 1.5 hours

Responsibilities
Our Occupational Therapists/OTs help patients who have debilitating conditions improve the functions of performing everyday tasks in the home. Occupational Therapists/OTs use treatments to develop the daily living skills of their patients and the basic motor functions of patients, as well as to compensate for any loss of function that patient may be experiencing. Occupational Therapists/OTs administer skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services and teach the family and other members of the health care team. These services are performed by Occupational Therapists/OTs in accordance with the physicians' orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the Branch Director.
Qualifications
Occupational Therapists/OTs must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy and licensed as an Occupational Therapist/OT in the state in which he/she currently practices.
- A minimum of one-year experience is preferred, but can be less with Regional Vice President and/or Regional Director of Therapy Services approval based on prior experience setting.
- Medicare home health experience is preferred.
