- Documentation/Verification role:
- May prepare quality standards documentation for approval.
- Provides assistance and administrative expertise to internal and external customers in the processing of component dispositions and manufacturing risks within WebCAP.
- Ensures proper archival of quality records.
- May prepare data package files and generate release document for materials, components, and assemblies.
- May prepare product certification packages for submittal to customers.
- Assists CAPs program coordinator.
- Helps internal and external customers in WebCAP functions.
- Surveillance role:
- Conducts oversight and verify product center compliance with procedures, SWI's, and other applicable instructions.
- Conducts physical measurements and tests of components as needed to verify quality characteristics.
- Utilizes judgment and experience to identify issues which affect product quality.
- Conducts independent verification of completion of actions reported as complete within the corrective action program.
Here's what you'll bring:
- Documentation/Verification role:
- High School diploma or equivalent education with a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Surveillance role:
- High School diploma or equivalent education with a minimum of 5 years of related manufacturing experience in a nuclear fuel facility.
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.

Responsibilities:

- Clinical Operations: Assists in the orientation and supervision of students during clinical rotations. Assists the Chief Therapist in evaluation of student performance. Uses effective communication techniques and interpersonal skills to provide explanations for treatment-related procedures. Observes patients for expected and unexpected reactions to treatments and communicates this to appropriate staff members. Reinforces patient education/side effect management information and indicates non-compliance to medical/nursing staff. Maintains a safe, orderly treatment room. Under the direction of the Radiation Oncology Manager provides On Call coverage as needed. Has a good understanding of information systems and is fluent in all computer applications necessary to perform their job. Assists at other UPMC Radiation Oncology locations if the need arises.

- Regulatory Affairs Management: Participates in regulatory compliance activities and maintains continuous departmental readiness for inspections and surveys. Follows all radiation safety standards. Wears radiation monitoring badge and I.D. badge at all times. Remains HIPAA compliant at all times. Completes clinical competencies annually as required. Communicates any equipment issues to the appropriate site leadership.

PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT/CNA
Salary: $18 - $24 an hour, based on years of relevant experience.
The Personal Care Assistant is responsible for providing and assisting Participants with direct and indirect care needs, including functional and instrumental activities of daily living in the community. The Personal Care Assistant will perform care for Participants primarily within their residence and occasionally within the LIFE Pittsburgh Adult Day Health Centers. Will provide direct care services, as approved and identified on the Participants Plan of Care to include, but not limited to the following ADLs: bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, mobility, van assist and medication prompting. Will also provide direct care services, as approved and identified on the Participants Plan of Care to include, but not limited to the following IADLs: light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, grocery shopping and companionship. The Personal Care Assistant will provides approved basic nursing care services to include, but not limited to, Foley catheter care, applying assistive devices, and assisting with colostomy bags consistent with policies and procedures. And is also responsible for completing and submitting accurate and timely documentation including Flow Sheets, Participant Logs, Communication books, etc. within the appropriate timeframe.
LOCATION/TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Positions are based out of an Adult Day Health Center, which are located in North Shore, Allegheny Center, Greentree, and McKees Rocks. Services areas vary based on location.
