Job Summary

Clinical Supervisor of Behavioral Health oversees a team of 5 full time master's level clinicians, a case manager, and a recovery support specialist who provide treatment within an acute inpatient psychiatric unit.  Partnering in multidisciplinary leadership with a nurse manager and medical director to provide programmatic oversight of the unit and treatment for patients 18 years of age and older. Additional responsibilities include providing clinical supervision to the clinical team, supporting the clinical development of clinical trainees placed within the inpatient units, and engaging in quality improvement projects at the direction of the clinical director in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements.  Clinical services include individual, group and family therapy. 

This is a key supporting member of the management team that oversees day-to-day program operations and is responsible for the supervision of assigned clinical care activities to monitor standard work and meet regulatory requirements.  Career growth opportunities. 

Key areas of responsibility: 

Unit and Personnel Management

  • Supervise all clinical care, including use of behavioral health interventions, emergency management and monitors compliance with requirements for treatment planning and transition planning.

Qualifications

Job Summary

A fully trained BPA may be eligible for up to an additional 25% of base pay per the BPA Pay Reform Act of 2014. Duties and Responsibilities:

As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.

Typical assignments include:

  • Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration and customs laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
  • Preventing and apprehending aliens and smugglers of aliens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions to include using infrared scopes during night operations.

Qualifications:

GL-9: You qualify for the GL-9 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:

  • Performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, and their immediate surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, and other evidence.
  • Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
  • Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.

If you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience, you may qualify at the GS-11 grade level.

GS-11: You qualify for the GS-11 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, with the authority granted by the state or government to enforce laws, make arrests, and investigate crimes, performing primary duties in an official law enforcement capacity such as:

JOB SUMMARY

Experience preferred - accepting wewly graduated with no previous experience but with 1,000 clinical hours in a hospital setting.
RRT registered by N.B.R.C.
Current CT state licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
ACLS, within 6 months of hire


Current PALS or STABLE Certification and NRP certification preferred

  • Provide administrative duties to include but not limited to opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow up, verifying insurance and collecting payment, maintaining a clean environment.
  • Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routing examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes
  • Perform duties including speaking with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, completing diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care
  • Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, chronic condition management

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year experience working as a Family Nurse Practitioner (or in select states as a Physician Associate). Experience in Family medicine or primary care practice preferred.
  • Active Family Nurse practitioner license in good standing
  • Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients. This includes education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) Prevention and safer sex practices.
  • Order and administer immunizations and injections (to include but not limited to COVID19, influenza, TB, Depo) and provides evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
  • Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent
  • Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
  • Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires.

Education:

  • Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • EPIC experience preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46.03 - $99.14

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
