Job Description
Training/Base pay rate of $17.00 per hour. The Base rate increases by .50 upon sixty days of employment.
We have a Guaranteed Hourly Rate of $20.00 per hour upon completion of training through your first 9 months. This allows time to build your bonus and commission skills.
If your post-training base rate, plus bonuses and commission don't bring you to the Guaranteed Hourly Rate, we will increase your pay.
However, the earning potential is much higher!
Schedule: 2 days off during the week; during slower season enjoy a four-on, three-off schedule.

Summary:
The Emergency Medical Technician EMS is responsible for administering appropriate emergency medical treatment to people who have been injured in accidents or have other medical conditions, and assists in rendering advanced emergency medical treatment. Ability to operate an advanced life support ambulance to administer care. Routinely assists with the inspection of the ambulance and related equipment to ensure proper operation and sanitary cleanliness.

This Job meets the minimum CLIA qualifications of a Laboratory General Supervisor, and under the direction of the Laboratory Director and/or Laboratory Manager, coordinates and manages the day-to-day operations of their specific section(s) and shift(s). The Laboratory Supervisor serves in an administrative role with direct reports, and functions in an exempt pay status. In conjunction with the Laboratory Director and/or Laboratory Manager, this Job develops and implements new procedures, instrumentation, quality control, and reagent use. This Job is also responsible for the development and maintenance of policies and procedures that meet the standards of regulatory agencies and implement service quality improvements. The Laboratory Supervisor ensures all personnel are held accountable through ongoing personnel performance reviews and assists in the orientation and development of personnel competencies for their section(s).
Responsibilities:

- Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots all equipment in assigned section(s) to keep in good working order;
makes minor repairs andadjustments when necessary;
initiates and follows through with Biomedical Engineering/equipment manufacturer for safety checks and repairs;

- Ability to follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser and escalate any problem(s) or issue(s) to the PACS administrator or Designee if needed.
- Troubleshoots and reports any equipment malfunctions to the Director/Manager and/or Biomedical personnel;
does appropriate follow-up. - Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Skills
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required
Experience
- 1 year of CT experience in a Hospital or Clinical setting preferred
- Basic computer experience required
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
- One of the following primary modality certifications is required
- Radiography (R) by ARRT
- Nuclear Medicine Technology by ARRT or NMTCB
- Computed Tomography (CT) by ARRT or NMTCB is required within 1 year of hire (CT required upon hire in the state of New Mexico)
- State Licensure required
- Texas: MRT by TMB
- Louisiana: LRT (R), (N), or (F) by LSRTBE
- New Mexico: CT or FUS by MIRTP NMED
- BLS required
