The Psychiatrist provides medical leadership and direct patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team. HUB Rockland is one of four MaineHealth Behavioral Health (MHBH) ambulatory specialty clinics across Mid-Coast and Southern Maine that focus on the management of co-occurring psychiatric and substance-use disorders.
Qualified candidates will work closely with the MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital inpatient units and ambulatory clinics to support patients across the MHBH continuum of care along with other regional entities, including treatment and recovery courts. Additional inpatient weekend and holiday call opportunities are reimbursed separately.
Desired Qualifications:
- Graduate of an Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical School.
- Completion of internship and/or approved residency. Addiction psychiatry fellowship training is helpful, but not required.
- 3+ years’ experience inclusive residency and/or fellowship training.
- Current or eligible licensure as a physician by the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine or eligible to do so.
- Certified or board eligible in an approved medical specialty.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides direct patient care within the scope of nursing practice and state regulations.
Working in the Medical Surgical (Med Surg) department, the LPN/LVN collaborates with Registered Nurses (RNs) and the healthcare team to support patient safety, comfort, and a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities:- Provide patient care in the Medical Surgical (Med Surg) unit under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and changes in health status.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, mobility, and comfort.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered and permitted by licensure.
- Support the implementation of patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Document patient care and observations in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Maintain infection control standards and patient safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Current and valid state license.
2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. IV certification upon hire.
