Leidos is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to contribute to cutting-edge engineering efforts within our Undersea Systems Division (USD). This role is a unique opportunity to drive innovation in underwater vehicle systems, maritime sensors, subsea telemetry, and ISR solutions that support critical defense and national security missions at Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific (NIWC PAC).

Sycuan Tribal Government is seeking a Planner I to support the development, preservation, and long‐term vision of the Sycuan Reservation. This role assists with capital and infrastructure projects, interdepartmental coordination, research, permitting, and ensuring compliance with Tribal, federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support major and minor capital, construction, and research projects, including scopes, contracts, RFPs, schedules, budgets, and consultant/contractor coordination.
  • Ensure projects comply with Tribal ordinances and applicable environmental and land‐use regulations.
  • Perform research, data collection, reporting, and project documentation.
  • Prepare planning resolutions, ordinances, amendments, policies, and local permitting documents.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with Tribal Council, departments, agencies, utilities, and community partners.
  • Attend planning, Tribal Council, committee, and community meetings as needed.
  • Provide support to the Director of Planning & Development and assist with department budget preparation.
  • Support GIS data collection, mapping, analysis, and serve as GIS backup when needed.
  • Perform fieldwork and inspections as required.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2+ years of experience in planning, project management, or construction management
  • Knowledge of project lifecycles, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating consultants/contractors
  • Familiarity with environmental and land‐use regulations (NEPA, CEQA, County)
  • Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word; working knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Preferred:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Construction/Project Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in Tribal government or construction/design fields

Compensation & Benefits

  • $83,500–$97,000 target annual salary, plus 10% discretionary annual bonus

Develop, test, and evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing, conducting research, and applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.

Strong knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes and the design of electrical enclosures.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with complex system analysis.

6.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

8.

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.

9.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

10.

A proactive approach to work, with a strong drive for results and the ability to work under pressure.

Job description:

Our client is a world leader in proven, reliable remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars, as well as advanced high-resolution surveillance systems.


Under general supervision with detailed instruction for new work or a special assignment, this position is responsible for performing a wide variety of repetitive or standard electronic and /or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing assembly tasks such as wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with control procedures.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assembles components, assemblies or sub-assemblies.

· Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to specifications.

· May perform duties as required in assembly of electronic equipment such as cables, harnesses, chassis, and printed circuit boards, or may perform mechanical assembly of panels, LRU's, batteries, and servo motors.

· May disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble assemblies or subassemblies.

· Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.

· Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

· Additional Functions:

o May assist in training lower level assemblers.

o Performs housekeeping and cleanup duties upon completion of assigned tasks.

o Other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

· Typical requires a high school diploma or equivalent and three or more years experience.

· Must be customer focused and possess:

o The ability to read and interpret engineering drawing and wire lists.

o Good understanding of the general aspects of the job with limited technical comprehension.

o Knowledge of computer operations and applications pertinent to the position.

o Familiarity with use of soldering and compression connection tools.

o Good visual perception and ability to distinguish between colors.

· The ability to work independently or in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours as required.

· Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance is required.
