Principal responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and manage large-scale quantitative and qualitative datasets across active research projects related to marketing, digital economics, and AI
  • Conduct empirical analysis using methods such as causal inference, machine learning, NLP, and experimental design
  • Contribute to all stages of the research process — from literature review and data collection through analysis and writing
  • Design and implement surveys and experiments using tools such as Qualtrics and oTree

What you will be doing:

  • Inspect building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client at assigned properties.
  • Performs day to day repairs, emergency maintenance, and preventive maintenance on all assigned properties or accounts including daily housekeeping chores.
  • Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include: plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC.
  • Receives and completes work orders for corrective repair work on a variety of building physical structures, equipment, and system components in a timely manner as assigned.
  • Oversees and inspects the work performed by outside contractors.
  • Maintains lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.
  • Orders necessary materials in order to complete all required repairs, within limits set by the Property Manager.
  • Completes all required paperwork within established deadlines to close out work orders.
  • Maintains and renews any required trade certifications and licenses.
  • Periodically, meets with the assigned Property Manager to ensure that all aspects of required or requested maintenance work are achieving the goals and objectives established to maintain the property.
  • Ensures that requests for work that exceed routine day to day repairs or maintenance, is properly referred and routed to the Chief Engineer for review.
  • Is responsible for 24/7 vehicle readiness as a part of the maintenance position.
  • Promptly reports unusual events or conditions discovered on assigned properties to the Property Manager and the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Performs work in accordance with all Federal and State OSHA guidelines and requirements.
  • Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ ladders, and ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

An exciting opportunity exists at Raytheon for a Semiconductor Dry Etch Engineering Lead to join our III-V compound semiconductor foundry team fabricating gallium nitride and gallium arsenide-based devices within the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department.  This role requires a broad understanding of microelectronics processing and subject matter expertise in one or more dry etch related techniques including plasma ashing/descum, reactive ion etching (RIE), and inductively coupled etching (ICP).

As a member of the AMS Department, the individual in this role will serve as the dry etch processes lead engineer and collaborate with the various engineering work centers in the III-V semiconductor wafer foundry. The candidate will lead and assist projects in process sustainment, capital allocation, directing process and capital qualifications, improving cycle time, improving product yield, developing new data driven controls, and driving overall wafer movement efficiency.

The chosen candidate is expected to be an innovative and creative thinker capable of probing issues and reaching solutions both independently and in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of various microelectronics processing techniques beyond deposition, including wet and dry etching, lift-off techniques, photolithography, metrology, process characterization, foundry data integrity, and large data analysis methods.

The candidate is expected to work well in large and small, cross-functional teams, understand foundry processes, determine capacity limitations, improve overall equipment effectiveness, identify yield improvement opportunities, gather sponsorship and team resources, and execute on continuous improvement activities. Naval Power is seeking a highly motivated Production Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for the SPY-6 Array production program’s Array Build, Integration & Testing. This position reports to the SPY-6 Production Array Program Manager and leads the execution efforts of the recurring production sell-off.  This lead will be responsible for ensuring that equipment delivery commitments are made on time and within budget, focusing on Array Build Integration & Testing, and RHS assembly builds, including Mechanical Structures & RMA Chassis material. They are responsible for removing barriers and defining solutions that support the Production IPT and program.

In addition, it is expected this person will work across all Raytheon functional organizations to staff the Production IPT and ensure the timely start-up and delivery of products in accordance with the contract(s).  

This is an onsite position located at either our Andover or Tewksbury, MA facilities.

  • Provide leadership and direction for the cross-functional supply chain, operations, engineering, quality, test, and logistics teams in the Production IPT with an emphasis on mitigating technical risk, assuring continuous Array production and delivery of compliant hardware to the Navy.

  • Collaborate with SPY-6 Chief Engineer to provide technical oversight of Array scope to include reviews of TDP changes, planning and execution of Array Production Test & FAIs.

  • Lead MLAs/RFVs/MRBs for Array build and integration issues.

  • Accountability for the production scope, including aligning product EACs with SOW definition, contract values and Program Management.

  • Work with Customer counterparts to understand status, schedules, priorities and objectives for events.

  • Participate in management of suppliers, in coordination with the supply chain function.

  • Manage engineering staffing across the Production IPT.

  • Developing presentations and presenting at program management reviews (PMRs), staffing reviews, and decision reviews to achieve contract commitments.

  • Display strong communication, influence management, and presentation skills, and comfortably interact with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of leadership.

  • Support the program risk and opportunity process in accordance with specific financial goals and obligations.

Manufacturing Engineers learn production operations and the manufacturing discipline in a controlled environment.  They develop manufacturing engineering skills alongside their team; internalize an understanding of safety, quality, delivery, and cost; and use Raytheon systems and tools to create innovative and unique solutions to today’s manufacturing challenges. Manufacturing Engineers build technical depth into manufacturing processes and are accountable for improvement and optimization.

Primary responsibilities include developing the comprehensive manufacturing process for 3D metal parts for various radar, integrated sensor, and effector programs. The candidate will create, test, and upgrade Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs, develop and document fixturing and setups for CMM inspection, and create inspection plans. They will also assess process failures, disposition non-conforming hardware, and create and execute robust Root Cause/Corrective Action plans to permanently solve problems.   • Translate engineering design requirements into formal manufacturing process documentation including CMM programming, inspection planning, finishing requirements, and assembly instructions

  • Support process improvements using data analysis, application of best practices, engaging with production personnel, and implementing innovative solutions to improve process capability and decrease cost

  • Design, control, and improve the manufacturing process through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team
