Effector RF Design Department is responsible for designing RF and Microwave hardware, including transmitters, receivers, and exciters.  This includes design and test activities that span preliminary design to integration.  Products we develop support radar and datalink applications on a variety of tactical missile programs.  Critical to this role is designing for challenging mechanical constraints and extreme environments.

This position is an onsite role, located in Tucson, AZ.

What You Will Do

• Design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters
• Design of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) with RF or mixed signals
• Work in a lab to accomplish component characterization as well as module verification and integration
• Test and handle sensitive RF Hardware
• Schematic capture and RF routing
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams - power, digital, mechanical, etc.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight years of prior relevant experience to include any combination of the following:
  • Experience with RF design and fabrication
  • Experience with RF testing and troubleshooting
  • Experience with the simulation of RF products
  • Experience with any of the following tools:
    • Mentor DX Designer or equivalent
    • High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) or equivalent
    • SystemVue/Genesys or equivalent
    • Advanced Design System (ADS) or equivalent

Qualifications We Prefer

• Mentorship or apprenticeship experience 
• Technical oversight responsibilities for less-senior engineers
• Working across domains on complex projects
• Architecting and requirements definition for complex RF products

• EVMS or CAM experience

• Background in designing for manufacturability, producibility, and cost constraints.  Includes yield and margin analysis
• Technical background in the following areas:

We are looking for candidates willing to collaborate, innovate, and team with our engineers to generate and utilize today’s cutting-edge technology to design digital electronics circuits that implement missile guidance, video and digital signal processing. Our technology base includes high-speed digital electronics, configurable logic, and homogeneous / heterogeneous multiprocessor designs.

The Digital Design Engineer II is responsible for the design, analysis, simulation, test, and integration of digital electronic modules and/or CCAs for Missile applications. The candidate should be experienced in all aspects of circuit card design including:

• hardware designs with processors

• FPGAs

• memory

• industry interfaces, such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology

The Effector Digital Products (EDP) department develops electronics for our weapon system products. We are responsible for the architecture, design, and documentation of deliverable FPGA embedded processing. We engage at the outset of the weapon system development and follow our designs through deployment. Our products are deployed all over the world, from the ground to exoatmospheric environments and into space. 
 
As a Principal FPGA Design Engineer you will develop FPGA designs for all major vendors and device families including: Xilinx, Altera, and Microsemi. Designs are implemented using VHDL for the following applications: gigabit serial interfaces, Radio Frequency (RF) and Electro-Optical (EO) DSP, controls, data links, embedded processing and processor interfaces.

Designers work with circuit card designers and systems engineers to develop requirements, architect new parts, collaborative modeling of algorithms, partition and perform code development, simulation, and place and route. Designs are verified against requirements using both directed test and constrained random methodologies. Design support is expected from requirements definition through integration and test. Design documentation and configuration management are required.

This position is 100% ONSITE in Tucson, Arizona.

• Deliver production-quality FPGA releases from initial proof of concept to production

• Architect FPGA-based systems to determine parts, interfaces, and Concept of Operations (CONOPS)

• Translate system-level requirements into FPGA requirements.

• Design and code in VHDL for reliability and maintainability.

• Verify designs utilizing self-checking techniques with directed and constrained random tests, while tracking functional and code coverage.

• Drive projects and execute program schedules on time and budget.

• Able to operate with minimal oversight from manager

Our Principal Embedded Real-Time Software Developer/Integrator is a technical position that works in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment to architect, design, implement, test, debug, and deploy Software for Firmware (FPGA) and Hardware solutions that meet current and next generation autonomous avionics systems’ needs. What You Will Do

The Engineer, Compute System Engineering is responsible for the implementation and support of compute based infrastructure, including public, private and hybrid cloud deployment models to support critical healthcare operations across The Guthrie Clinic (TGC). This role ensures high availability and performance for clinical systems, patient care services, and administrative functions across the network. We are seeking skilled Make-Ready Designers (primary focus) and Power Distribution Designers to support engineering programs for major electric and telecom utilities. Ideal candidates bring demonstrated experience in overhead utility pole design, NESC application, clearance assessment, pole loading analysis, and construction package development. Requirements:

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or higher in engineering, drafting, or a related field is preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in make-ready engineering, joint-use design, or electric power distribution design (3+ years strongly preferred)
• Proven experience in utility pole design, including NESC application, clearance analysis, pole loading concepts, and preparation of construction-ready design packages
• Proficiency with CAD or MicroStation; experience with DDS, Katapult, O-Calc, or similar utility design platforms is strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of power distribution construction practices, with the ability to learn utility-specific proprietary systems efficiently
• Must hold a valid driver’s license, maintain active auto insurance, and pass all required background, drug, and MVR screenings
• Authorization to work in the United States is required
• Willingness to travel occasionally, including minimal overnight travel when project needs require
• Ability to work a standard Monday–Friday schedule aligned to Eastern Time, with Central/Mountain/Pacific adjustments as appropriate

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to work for extended periods using a computer keyboard, monitor, and telephone
• Ability to prepare and analyze data, review detailed information, and work with design tools requiring close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
• Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written channels

Description: Reports to: Manager, Customer Education Purpose of Position: The Global Marketing Customer Education and Programs Team is responsible for delivering best in class, industry-leading Marketing Programs and Customer Education.

These programs and trainings deliver product awareness, solutions, and services through both hands-on and virtual educational offerings extending Client's Customers and Program Members product preference and brand loyalty.

The Training Coordinator, Customer Education will be responsible for supporting Customer Education initiatives such as supporting program members, training/alliance partners, and other applicable customers in the In-Building, Data Center, and Carrier Markets.

This person will take direction from the Manager, Customer Education to develop the annual education plan for USCAN.

They will project lead the development of class content, marketing materials, and class scheduling to ensure that the education plan is aligned with business strategy and is successfully executed.

The Customer Education team has a global footprint, and this role will be expected to have a cross-regional approach to ensure trainings and content within is supported uniformly within each region.

Major Roles and Responsibilities Growth and maintenance for customer training program that promotes and supports global marketing initiatives across markets and solutions.

Collaborate with Channel Marketing, Regional Marketing, Sales Engineers, Product Line Managers, and Engineering Services to identify Customer Education needs and future opportunities with a specific market audience.

With the direction and strategy from the Manager, Customer Education, develop and project manage Training Events both live and virtual to support the overall In-Building Network (IBN), Data Center and Carrier (CN) Sales strategy.

Collaborate with subject matter expects in Systems Engineering, Field Engineering, Application Engineers, and Regional/Applications Marketing regarding content and instructional design and develop or source training content and curriculum.

Work with Engineering Services and Field Engineering to build and maintain product samples and equipment to support class curriculum.

Collaborate with Distribution Branch Managers and Sales Engineers nationwide to coordinate logistics for live education classes.

Build promotional campaigns through marketing tools such as social media, marketing automation software and traditional inbound and outbound campaigns to support promotion of customer education events.

Maintain certifications and customer/program education records and report on results from Customer Education program.

Work with event planning software (Cvent) to set up accurate event registration/promotion, registration and after event reporting.

Establish and build relationships with external suppliers as needed.

Operate within a specified customer education budget.

Be available to provide basic customer support for program members.

Help maintain and develop program databases and processes to continually improve the training program.
