We’re seeking a Senior Estimator with extensive experience in natural gas infrastructure and heavy civil construction to lead major bid efforts and drive growth across the region. Key Responsibilities
• Lead end‑to‑end estimating for natural gas distribution systems, end‑user infrastructure, and heavy civil projects valued at $50M+
• Manage quantity takeoffs, pricing, subcontractor coordination, and overall bid preparation
• Support expansion into additional sectors including:
- Heavy industrial
- Wastewater/water treatment
- Underground electric, fiber, and dry utilities
- • Work closely with project managers and engineering teams to analyze scope and identify value-engineering options
- • Review plans, specifications, and contracts to build comprehensive, accurate cost estimates
- • Conduct risk assessments and offer mitigation strategies
- • Stay current with market conditions, labor costs, and material pricing trends
- • Build solid vendor and subcontractor relationships to secure competitive pricing
- • Participate in post-bid reviews and assist in transitioning estimates to project execution teams
Required Experience & Skills
• 10+ years of construction estimating experience
• 5+ years estimating $50M+ projects
• 5+ years in heavy civil work: roads, grading, utilities, DOT/municipal
• Proficiency in HCSS HeavyBid, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and/or Agtek
• Strong analytical, communication, and MS Office skills
• Ability to manage shifting priorities and meet multiple deadlines

EDUCATION

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrates technical expertise in the operation of all equipment utilized in the non-invasive cardiology laboratory. Ensures quality, efficiency, and safety in performance of all patient procedures. Has knowledge of thoracic anatomy, especially heart position; of dynamic internal structural anatomy of heart and component functions; of Cardiac pathology and how it alters heart position and internal structural detail. Knows basic principles of M-Mode, 2-Dimensional and Doppler Ultrasound. Is capable of interrelating knowledge of cardiac anatomy and pathology to that concerning the operation of ultrasonography to produce diagnostic quality 2-D images and doppler frequency shift recordings.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
An American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International credential is required. New graduates must complete these required credentials within six months of hire. New graduates pending required credentials will work under the supervision of a registered Cardiac Sonographer. Bachelors Degree in related field is preferred. One year in the performance of Echocardiographs and Doppler Ultrasound; working experience in EKG's, Holter Monitoring, and scanning, and exercise tolerance tests is desirable. Two or more years of preferred experience.

Experienced analyst responsible for independently applying actuarial methodologies to complete structured projects and serves as a technical subject matter expert on assigned tasks.

Builds tools to test and implement new methodologies that improve accuracy of actuarial analysis; utilizes model results to select new variables and refresh existing variables in a rating algorithm; analyzes results from multiple methodologies to propose reserve selections and documenting rationale).
Identifies and improves existing processes utilizing actuarial, mathematical, or statistical techniques.
Proactively resolves technical issues and identifies appropriate issues for escalation.
Assists others with troubleshooting issues.
Creates instructions and training materials for actuarial tools and processes.
Mentors new team members.
Apply business acumen to provide actionable insights that help solve business problems.
Effectively communicates insights and solutions to broad audiences including actuarial and non-actuarial stakeholders.
Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
Bachelor’s degree OR 4 years of related actuarial/business/analytical experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
2 years of actuarial or analytical business experience.
3 Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) exams.
Experience with relevant actuarial, mathematical, and statistical techniques and approaches used to support fact-based decision-making.
Intermediate knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization, developing analysis queries and procedures in Python, R, SQL, SAS, BI tools or other analysis software, and relevant industry data & methods and ability to connect technical insights to business problems.
What sets you apart:
Familiarity with Excel and at least one programming language or modeling software package (Python, SQL, R, SAS, etc.).
Demonstrated experience with basic actuarial pricing methodologies.
Demonstrated experience aggregating and analyzing data to solve problems.
Ability to effectively communicate insights and solutions to broad audiences including actuarial and non-actuarial stakeholders.
P&C Personal Lines pricing experience.
Familiarity and experience with industry pricing software such as Earnix.

Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $77,120 - $138,810.

* 2+ years of direct team lead, supervisory or management experience.
* Experience using and interpreting data to make decisions.
* Demonstrated leadership, initiative, customer service and/or claims handling skills.
* Acquisition and maintenance of applicable insurance adjuster license within 6 months time in role.
