The Opportunity
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applications for a full-time, 9-month tenure-earning assistant professor or tenured associate professor with an expected start date of December 23, 2026.
We seek visionary scholars in the area of RF and Microwave Circuits and Systems. This position presents an exceptional opportunity for the successful candidate to lead innovation in high-frequency electronics-ranging from 5G/6G communications and IoT to specialized RF systems for spaceborne and extreme-environment applications.
The successful candidate will leverage UCF's proximity to the aerospace and defense industries to bridge the gap between academic research and the burgeoning commercial space industry. Given the scale of our programs, this is a unique opportunity to shape the future workforce by training and mentoring the next generation of engineers through our comprehensive undergraduate and graduate programs.

Minimum Qualifications:
Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in electrical engineering, or other closely related disciplines at the time of appointment. Applicants must have a strong research track record supported by quality publications.
To be eligible for appointment as a tenured associate professor upon hire, the selected candidate must have a demonstrated record of teaching, research, and service commensurate with a tenured faculty appointment at the rank of associate professor.
Preferred Qualifications:
Past work experience in academia with strong funding record is desirable. A demonstrated record of teaching/training experience is of interest.

This is an on-site role at our Orlando facility. We're looking for local candidates or those ready to relocate — no remote option for this position.
Salary range: $70,000–$80,000 depending on experience.
For corporate maintenance, this position is responsible for performing advanced preventative maintenance, installations, and repairs for corporate and regional facilities operations assigned.
This includes the maintenance of central plant distribution systems and mechanical equipment and facilitating the distribution of villa appliances and furnishings stored at the corporate facilities warehouse.
This role provides excellent service to both external and internal customers while adhering to all brand and OSHA compliance standards.
Expected Contributions Maintenance Performs advanced preventive maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of building systems and equipment, including HVAC, mechanical, low-voltage electrical systems, structured cabling (e.g., CAT6 punch-down to junction boxes), plumbing, refrigeration, commercial kitchen equipment, appliances, controls, and energy management systems.

Our client is one of the largest and most respected structural engineering firms in the Southeast and continues to experience strong growth across multiple markets. As a result, they are expanding their Orlando, FL team and seeking an experienced Structural Project Manager (PE) to lead building design projects and mentor junior engineers.
This is a high-impact role where you will manage complex structural engineering projects, maintain strong client relationships, and help develop the next generation of engineers. The position offers strong career growth and the opportunity to help shape the strategic direction of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple structural engineering projects from concept through construction.
- Maintain and grow client relationships, ensuring high-quality service and project delivery.
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers and project staff.
- Develop cost-effective structural solutions for commercial, municipal, healthcare, and industrial building projects.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and internal engineering teams.
- Review and approve structural designs and calculations for projects involving steel, concrete, and masonry systems.
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and secure new projects.
- Support strategic initiatives and contribute to the growth of the Orlando office.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) License – Required
- 7+ years of structural engineering experience focused on building design
- 3–5 years of project management experience
- Experience analyzing existing buildings and designing new building structures
- Strong background designing structures using steel, concrete, and masonry

The Opportunity:
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the College of Engineering and Computer Science is seeking a Post Doctoral Scholar to support the UCF Center of Ethics and the Laboratory for Interaction of Machine and Brain. The scholar would be a part of a research program funded by Meta at the intersection of neural engineering, human-machine interaction, ethics, and privacy. The project focuses on next-generation bio signal-driven interfaces for long-term use, emphasizing adaptability, robustness, and human-centered design with special focus on ethics and privacy.
Responsibilities:
This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy working across theory, experiments, and systems-level thinking, and who want their work to shape how humans interact with intelligent machines responsibly.
What You'll Work On
You will contribute to the development and evaluation of ethics-centered adaptive brain/muscle-machine interface technologies using physiological signals (primarily sEMG). The work spans:
Close collaboration with researchers in neuroscience, engineering, and ethics.
Human-in-the-loop brain/muscle-machine experimentation focused on learning pedagogy for adaptive neural systems.
Design and implementation of gamified environments for incorporating user feedback into system design.
