Position Description

The client is hiring a Project Manager for our Combat Mission Systems (CMS) business in Temple, TX. The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the Bradley A4E1 program management team, by managing vehicle and hardware deliveries on time and within budget. This position is full-time onsite at our facility in Temple, TX and reports to the Bradley A4E1 Program Manager. Location/Schedule/Travel: • This role is fulltime onsite in Temple, TX • The role works a 9/80 schedule where you will have every other Friday off • There may be up to 20% travel This Project Manager is accountable for all on-site program activities of the US Army Bradley post production integration efforts, including the following: Supporting the program to achieve cost/profitability, schedule, and technical performance objectives with a high level of customer satisfaction Establishing program direction and indirect management for the matrixed team executing the scope (Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Contracts, Finance and/or others) Effectively managing and integrating program complexities including multiple production elements Proactively planning for activities on the current contract. Actively and effectively managing risks and opportunities. Making timely and ethical decisions with sound judgment while complying with the contract, policies and procedures. Continuously improving project performance including capturing, evaluating, and applying lessons learned. Effectively presenting project status and proposals to the program team and Senior Management Developing program/project plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources Leading and inspiring diverse teams in a high tempo environment spanning multiple sites including industry partners and suppliers. The Project Manager will: Lead and utilize a team of indirect reports to work across functional lines to meet the program objectives and deliverables Work with peers to maintain a program schedule that consolidates multiple projects across contracts. Manage the flow of vehicles and hardware into the facility to support the on-time delivery of contract deliverables. Present project status at program and technical reviews with customers with various levels of the Systems organization. Act as primary point of contact between Client and the customer, suppliers, and key customer stakeholders; this includes working across time zones Make decisions to deliver cost-effective solutions to the company and ensure assigned projects meet financial commitments for orders, sales, profit, and cash, while managing to an appropriate level of risk Identify and assess performance gaps to customer expectations or program objectives, develop and initiate improvement plans to close the gaps, and utilize metrics to verify performance to plan Responsible for completion of deliverables and on-time delivery

Key Responsibilities

• Support surveillance, inspections, acceptance testing, audits, and corrective actions to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and customer requirements.

The Role:

The MEP Project Manager is responsible for managing, field inspections, problem solving, and coordinating all necessary Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection project resources and documentation throughout the entire project lifecycle. The Role

The Project Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating all necessary project resources and documentation throughout the entire project lifecycle. This includes the maintenance of budget and schedule, and the management and administration of all contractual requirements, agreements with trade partners, purchase orders, meeting minutes and shop drawing logs. Responsibilities

• Lead and communicate with Suffolk Field Supervision, Subcontractors and Vendors to assist them in working to the Project Schedule
• Represent Suffolk with Owner(s), Architects, Consultants, Government Authorities, Vendors and Subcontractors
• Administer financial aspects of the Owner’s contract, subcontracts, and purchase orders
• Build effective working relationships with clients and the Suffolk project team members

Project Start-Up:

• Review the general contract and contract documents and confirm the budget setup and project milestones
• Create a schedule of values and project logs, plan for project safety and mobilization, including review and validation with team members

Purchasing process and document control:

• Maintain the buy schedule, write scopes of work, distribute and log subcontracts, write required contract riders and purchase orders, and confirm compliance with project insurance requirements
• Review subcontractor references, obtain Subcontractor bonds, and maintain project files
• Maintain and manage all purchase and delivery schedules, change order processes, shop drawings, document control logs, Owner, Architect and Subcontractor correspondence
• Work with Purchasing in setting up/executing trade buyout including defining scope of work, authoring Exhibit B’s, ensuring scope coverage, coordinating buy and project schedules

Meeting Management:

• Attend all schedule and management meetings necessary to monitor and manage the project, chairing as appropriate

Financial Management:

• Manage all requisitions and payments including lien releases and project payroll and maintains best possible cash flow throughout the project, communicating issues proactively

Project Closeout:

• Deliver all necessary manuals to the Owner, consolidates project documentation and files
• Manage subcontractor closeout, transfer of utilities, owner training, and punch list process
• Deliver all warranties, as-builts and training to the owner

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or applicable discipline and experience relative to project size/scope
• 5+ years of related experience
• Excellent business judgment demonstrated by consistently achieving profitability objectives and strong project close-outs with client and subcontractor relationships in good standing
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail evidenced by a strong command of all applicable contract and legal provisions

Production Planning & Inventory Control

• Balance production cycles with customer delivery commitments
• Improve inventory turns while maintaining service levels
• Ensure full material traceability by heat lot and production batch

Logistics & Program Execution

• Manage domestic and international logistics in compliance with applicable export and trade regulations
• Coordinate delivery schedules aligned with customer production timelines
• Provide supply chain reporting and performance updates to leadership

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure supply chain compliance with applicable quality management systems
• Maintain traceability documentation and certification packages
• Support internal and external audits

Continuous Improvement

• Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives across planning and supplier processes
• Implement and enhance ERP/MRP systems to improve visibility and planning accuracy
• Drive KPIs including OTIF, schedule adherence, lead time reduction, and working capital optimization

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive supply chain experience in specialty metals, advanced manufacturing, or industrial production
• Experience operating in a regulated or quality-driven manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills

Scope of Accountability

Resilience Engineering & Cloud Reliability

• Architect and validate fault-tolerant, regionally resilient architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Own resilience automation, chaos testing, and IaC-based recovery validation.

• Lead cross-cloud reliability design reviews and failure-mode analyses for critical systems.

Quality Engineering & Continuous Testing

• Define enterprise-wide quality engineering strategy integrated into CI/CD pipelines.

• Drive automation-first testing (functional, non-functional, performance, resilience).

• Embed observability-driven quality validation and contract testing across services.

Performance, Capacity & Efficiency Engineering
