Job Details Job Summary We’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving manufacturing processes, and working directly with customers and production teams.

In this role, you’ll design and evaluate gearing and gearbox components, support manufacturing through clear technical drawings and CAM programming, and help drive continuous improvement across the shop floor.

What You’ll Do Work directly with customers to solve technical issues and recommend cost‑effective gearing and gearbox solutions.

Design and run strength calculations using ASME and AGMA standards.

Create clear, accurate manufacturing drawings in AutoCAD.

Support production by selecting materials, tooling, and efficient manufacturing methods.

Program CNC machining operations using Mastercam (turning, milling, drilling).

Improve shop-floor processes, tooling, and fixtures with the Production and Assembly teams.

Troubleshoot manufacturing problems, analyze root causes, and implement solutions.

Reverse‑engineer customer parts using precision measuring tools to support quotes and manufacturing.

Prepare quotes using the E2 Shoptech ERP system.

Inspect gearboxes, prepare evaluation reports, and recommend repairs.

Review material certifications and analyze NDT results (MPI, dye penetrant, ultrasonic testing).

Reverse‑engineer gearbox components such as gears, shafts, bearings, seals, and housings.

Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System (ISO and Lean).

Apply strong skills in AutoCAD, CNC programming, GD&T, and design analysis.

What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

2 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, Materials Engineer, or similar role.
