Position Responsibilities
Inspect, maintain, repair, rebuild, retrofit, modify, assemble, disassemble, troubleshoot, analyze, diagnose, calibrate, adjust, and test mechanical systems and or subsystems of all types of cranes such as, but not limited to cab operated, radio controlled, jib type, pendant operated, etc. Know, understand, and work in compliance with SHEA and other applicable codes and regulations for overhead cranes
Coordinate and work with management, engineering, equipment vendors, and other organizations to analyze equipment design requirements and capabilities.
Use schematics, blueprints, sketches, manuals, technical documents, written information, verbal information, applicable procedures, codes and ordinances.
Determine and/or develop methods where procedures may not be available.
Devise and make shop aids to facilitate work. Operate and utilize mechanical, test equipment and test systems, precision devices in failure analysis, all forms of predictive/preventative technologies, as required on cranes.
Operate, use and maintain overhead maintenance work platforms
Maintain, adjust, install and repair, hydraulic, pneumatic and electric brake system components on cranes and bridges as requires.
Inspect and maintain building runway rails and expansion joints.
Maintain mechanical crane and hoist systems including cables, chain, sheaves and hooks.
Perform the operational tests and load tests of cranes and bridges as required by Engineering, SHEA and other applicable codes and regulations.
Maintain logs, charts, and perform written and verbal tie-in records.
Prepare reports and schedules as required.
Work with and assist employees of other classifications as required.
Perform work in other classifications when incidental but necessary to the accomplishment of the assignment.

Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.

Position Responsibilities:

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of structural experience in aerospace, automotive, maritime, construction or similar industry; this can include education and military.
1+ years experience following oral and written instructions in the form of blueprints, drawings, work instructions.
1+ years of experience using high impact vibratory tools; such as bucking/riveting.
Ability to stand 6-8 hours per day; walk constantly; climb or work from stairs/steps/ladders; bend and twist frequently; squat and kneel; wear hearing protection (ear inserts, canal caps, earmuffs); eye protection, and use hazardous chemicals.
Ability to lift up to 35lbs.
Ability to work in Confined Spaces (work within or pass through). Entry diameter 9.5”X17.7”.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience performing aircraft structural work or equivalate.
Enrolled in a Boeing partnered manufacturing related high school or community and technology college academic program.

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Senior Assembly Advisement Workplace Coaches (Level 4) to join 737 Skill Enhancement Center team located in Renton, Washington.
Position Responsibilities:
Uses manufacturing and assembly experience in one or more of these areas: mechanical, fluids/pneumatics, electrical integration, quality inspection, machine operations for coaching, performance improvement and problem solving in support of the Boeing Production System
Analyze and interpret performance and quality data to identify and mitigate the impact of changes on the production system. (e.g. CMES, CORRS, PAS, EPES, TMC, Velocity, Webart)
Conduct assessments of processes and practices, analyzes and interprets data for improvement opportunities
Provide feedback on assessment results and find opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk
Analyze processes and support Boeing Production System problem solving, develop and document innovative solutions in support of area Q.C.D.S.M. goals
Assist M&Q managers and team leads with Structured On the Job Training (SOJT) plans
Support training and coaching solutions to improve employee performance
Provide Subject Matter Experts for specific M&Q Skills/Disciplines
Provide instruction, positive modeling, and opportunities for observation in order to help team members and employees. Encourage questions to ensure understanding. Gives timely, appropriate feedback on performance when coaching. Reinforces efforts and progress

Experience and proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, specifications, and templates
Proficiency with MS Office applications
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
