Position Overview: Specialty: Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery Type: Locum Tenens Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call Practice Setting: Inpatient Key Responsibilities: Full-Time Coverage: We are seeking two full-time providers to join our team, with the potential for multiple providers to share the schedule.

Providers will work from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Overtime (OT) may be required and will need pre-approval, applying after 40 hours per week.

Call Duties: Call is structured as beeper call, with providers working during the day and taking call at night.

During weekends, providers will round on patients, complete in-house tasks, and then carry the beeper outside the hospital once rounds are complete.

Call frequency is approximately 1:4, with one day per week and one weekend per month (Friday 7:00 AM ??? Monday 7:00 AM).

Clinical Requirements: Candidates should be licensed in Oregon (OR) and hold current ACLS and BLS certifications.

While 5 years of recent experience in cardiovascular surgery is preferred, we welcome candidates with varying levels of experience who are interested in this opportunity.

Skills in vein harvesting using Maquet equipment and open radial or harmonic scalpel techniques are highly desirable.

Additional Details: Inpatient Focus: The role is entirely inpatient, with no outpatient responsibilities.
